  • 【GALVANIZED STEEL DOUBLE ROOF】Instead of fabric & polycarbonate, our fade-resistant & rust-resistant galvanized steel roof keeps out bright light and harmful UV rays, making the metal gazebo strong enough to withhold heavy snow and wind. The double top design facilitates ventilation, cooling and slowing down the wind speed.

Equipped with 1 "U" and 2 ”J“ hooks on the top roof, it can be used to hang up the lights and fans to enrich the aluminum hardtop gazebo.

Update on my review: we got the polycarbonate roof over a year ago. I do not recommend polycarbonate roofing. We bought it so that it can let some light in, but we received hail damage this past fall (we never get) that put little holes in it & then ice that fell off our rooftop & broke it. Reached out to company and they do not keep spare parts of this on hand, which is very disappointing given how expensive it was. It did hold up to 6” of heavy snow although it did sag a bit & didn’t have issues last winter. Not sure what we are going to do now

Overall very nice unit and easy to set up. The only finding on the negative side is that the support posts "corner posts" were not as sturdy as I had expected. Recommend they change them out for a square sturdier post. The other items which has nothing to do with the gazebo, the screen which was included in the order had a small tear in one of the panels.

You will need 2 people to complete this project, plan on spending around 5-8 hours to build. The roof is the most difficult part, if they could spot weld the clips on the individual pieces it would speed the process up. But if you put a little tape on each one to hold them in place it helps. You will also want to purchase an allen wrench set for your cordless screw driver as that helps speed up the process. Also recommend using 1 little giant ladder and then another 6' ladder so both people can work comfortably on the roof part of the project. The rest of the process outside of the roof is very easy. The final result is a great gazebo for the money.

This turned into a very long assembly. My wife and I were able to get the frame up with zero issues. The problem came when it was time to install the roof panels. The little gutter guards (that's what I call them) kept popping off. None of the panels would line up with holes in the frame. We finally figured out a way that worked for us.The gazebo is awesome. Very sturdy. We added a ceiling fan inside of it, and strung some lights up. I am beyond happy with the finished product and we can't wait to enjoy it during the spring and summer.

This is for the 12x12 ft HWG20-034 gazebo. We've had it up for about 4 months since the end of Summer. It's held up against lots of rain and wind without issue. We'll see how it holds up against the snow this winter. It took two people about 15 hours and we did this over the span of 4 days. Could have saved about 3 hours if we figured out the trick to installing the last set of shingles sooner (middle tier, parts R1 and R2, pg 18 in the manual). Honestly, that last set of shingles is near impossible and very frustrating if you just followed the supplied instructions. Here's the easier trick to install the last set of shingles (R1 and R2) after completing the Q1 and Q2 shingle install on pg 17:1) Loosen the corner screw (#1 M6x15) holding N and middle screw (#1 M6x15) holding N1 so it's barely threaded in and keeping the railing G1 loosely in place.2) Slide Q1 down towards the bottom as far as it can go, about 1/4 to 1/2 inches.3) Install R1 into place as shown on pg 18. Works best if one person is under the gazebo near the top and the other person is above near the bottom, both guiding R1 up into place.4) Slide Q1 up back into place and hold up using G1 railing. Helps to have one person hold R1 in place while the other pushes Q1 back up.5) Re-tighten corner screw (#1 M16x5)6) Repeat, moving right. (Loosen next N corner, slide down Q2 & G2, install R2, slide up Q2 & G2, tighten N1)Customer support is good. One of the curtain panels had a manufacturing defect. We contacted the vendor, they promptly responded, and worked with us to resolve the issue, ultimately sending out a replacement part. It took a few weeks to get the replacement panel, but it arrived without issues.
