Let me just start this review by saying I really like these pants. They a very comfortable and feel great to wear. The problem however is that there is no way you can wear these to train in the pool. I’m an avid swimmer who is in the pool daily working out and there is no way I would even try to wear them while swimming. The number one problem with these pants is that they do not come with a draw-string. No draw-string means they are coming off sooner or later and if you are beast pushing off the wall into a good streamline it will be sooner rather than later. Even if you wear them under a speedo they will still slide down and become nothing more than an irritation. You would constantly have to pull them up. So its no a go for these to swim in. I gave them three stars because in spite of their uselessness for swimming they would definitely make great running pants or you could even use them as an effective layer of underclothing on a cold day. They are extremely comfortable just to wear around the house as well. So they’re good pants but not good for swimming. Swimmers buy these at your own risk. All others - they a worth the 20 bucks they sell for.

These rash guard pants worked wonders for me on a snorkeling vacation I just took in Mexico. I know from previous experience that sunscreen does NOT cut it on a snorkeling vacation because it washes off after a while and the sun is just too intense on the legs. Rash guards are the only way to go.This worked perfectly for me. I have other rash guard pants but this is my favorite because it goes over your feet and stays in place. I easily used this with fins and the pants stayed where they should be the whole time. With other rash guard pants, there is a tendency to creep up and then you get a ring of sunburn around your ankles.Anyway, great pants. I will use them for all such trips in the future. Definitely recommended.

These swim pants are snug (in a good way) in the calves and butt, but a little loose in the thighs. I don't think it will be an issue. Otherwise, fits well. The material feels similar but not exactly like a rash guard, it doesn't cling the same way. They are lightweight and quick drying.

I’m not sure why they call this compression, because it’s really just skin-tight with no actual compression. That said, I still like it—it’s soft, smooth, and comfortable to wear. One of the main reasons I got this was for the UV protection, since one of my medications makes me more sensitive to the sun. The full-length design provides great coverage, which is perfect for outdoor activities. It’s also quick-drying and breathable, so it doesn’t feel heavy or clingy when wet.Overall, it’s a great pair of swim leggings, just not really compression as advertised. If you’re looking for a lightweight, snug fit with sun protection, these work well.

The tag on the pant states that material is 85% nylon and 15% spandex. And it stretches like it has 15% spandex. The elastic waist do not fit tight enough to be swim pants. One dive into the water and pants' waist will come down exposing the private areas and blinding everyone that happened to be looking. It needs drawstrings to be a swim pants. Sure you can wear it swimming, but if you dive into the water, you would realize it is a terrible swim pants. The 15% spandex allows the pant to stretch enough to hug the body instead of squeezing the body and wanting to droop down the buttock and waist. The material feels cool once put on so should be good even in warmer weather. Although the weave is a close weave, which makes it great for cold and windy days, it is pretty breathable. The thickness of the material is not too thin but not too thick either. This makes this pant an all year long weather pant. Being without a drawstring, it shouldn't be worn as an outside pant. Also it is thin enough that a bright sunlight day would make it transparent enough to reveal the private areas. Thus, it should be worn with underwear. The elastic waist band is a little too relax to feel secure. It should have a thin replaceable drawstring to make it ever lasting. The length and fit is perfect for a size small. It should be mass produced and in different colors like white and silver or gray color so it can be used as thermos as well as a sports (swimming, jogging, biking) pants. Two front-side pockets on it would make it even more versatile as an outer pants.

The black size medium swim pants by Witkey Apparel are made in PRC (china). The material is composed of 85% nylon and 15% spandex (not 100% polyester as stated in the description). The swim pants have no drawstring at the waist, but only a band of elastic sewn into the top. The material does have some stretch in all four directions, but most of the stretch is up-down and some stretch side to side. This is not a pool friendly material, as the elastic was starting to harden after a few uses in the pool. The material is cut for a straight leg fit, and I did find my larger thighs and calves were an issue. I am a normal 34, and found the medium fit well. The elastic waistband did not help keep the pants in place, as they did slide down when getting out of the pool. I did not like these as work out pants because I had to constantly pull them up. I do like how the pants look, the fabric feel, and the compression. I did not like wearing these pants in public places like the pool or the weight room.2 stars
