Material

  • Valve body and poppet are cast with no lead brass.

  • Check valve has Delrin guide bearing for the poppet stem, assures smooth, noise-free, and long-life valve operation.

  • Corrosion-resistant - stainless steel spring and stainless steel lock nut.

Wondered why priming the irrigation pump was so difficult to prime until I noticed water falling back through the foot valve the first time I used it. Sometimes it sealed OK but most of the time it didn't. It otherwise seemed to be well made.
