It took a while for me to have the opportunity to use this peel, but when I did I was so disappointed! Even though I used cornmeal under the dough it did not slide off of the peel onto the HOT stone I had waiting for it. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Sturdy but thin enough to slide under a pizza. The only way to get pizza out if the oven and avoid burns.

Large and sturdy. I like that the handle can be moved to fit a smaller space. To remove all the blue plastic on it you have to unscrew the handle completely, but it’s easy and done within a few seconds. The edge of the metal is unfinished and rough. It’s not sharp enough to cut you but should’ve been smoothed off before sending out. That the reason for the deduction. Id give it 3.5 stars if I could. Other than that it works well and I’ll update the review if I have an other issues with it.

I ordered this to go with our outdoor gas fired pizza oven, and it works well.It's large, has a fold-able handle and thin enough to get under the pizza easily. The peel comes with a blue plastic film, which need to be removed, and it's on there pretty good so be aware. The edge of the peel are rough and a little sharp, so the blue film was sticking on it and it took some elbow grease and a scrubber to get it off. You don't want that melted blue plastic on your pizza.The handle screws on and off, and you can loosen the screw to fold it, which saves on space. It is on the large size for outdoor pizza ovens, so you may need to wiggle it around a bit to move your pizza while cooking. Otherwise it's a great deal!

I like the folding handle for easy storage. A little flour/cornmeal mixture and you get a perfect launch.
