It is a little pricey for a plastic box but what else do you do to fill the hole. I wanted it to place my cell phone when driving. My radio is an Android with GPS so I do not have to see the phone. I drill a hole and pulled in a USB cable to connect and charge the phone. The box is well finished so it fits right in and look like the remainder of the dash. There is no door to get in the way.

Fits the area beneath the new radio well, it’s a little loose but not in any way that’s going to affect it much. Worth the price and takes up the space when upgrading your radio to a touch screen

I want to preface that this is a great little insert if you are looking for something that is built well and inexpensive. The package came in a decent amount of time and was packaged very well. The insert fits well and even worked. It even worked after some slight adjustments that I made. The plastic appears to be injection molded. The insert fits well and is decently snug with the two plastic rivet protrusions that go right into the original connection points and the screws that secure it at the bottom. I would not suggest this for those that are wanting to maximize the space underneath their radio or navigation system as the hold is only about 6in across and 4.5in deep. There is an inch of plastic on either side.

Works well, looks way better than the stock pocket with a door that won't close because you've replaced part of the dash. Easy to add a USB outlet as well, great place to store the cord.

Best buy installed this product. The only problem is: the upper portion does not stay in place. The product may be pushed 2" and more from where it lines with the radio (upper portion). Unsure if Best Buy installed it incorrectly.Secondly concern is the SMALL area of storage. If you got used to the original lower pocket, well, do not be surprised by how how much smaller this one is. You were warned. The buyers, like me however, were not. Best of luck!
