I have bought two of these for a Subaru Crosstrex to install a standard "Double Din" radio they did not fit! The standard double din radio is 7" wide and 4" tall, I have installed several in my siblings vehicles, some came with face plates except for the Subaru. I did some research and found that the Kenwood is also 7x4 as are all of the double din radios. METRA KITS DO NOT FIT DOUBLE DIN RADIOS, DO NOT BUY FOR YOUR AFTER MARKET RADIO!!!

This replaced a different brand kit that was too thick to allow easy use of the volume knob. This bezel is about half as 'thick' and allows the head unit to protrude about 3/8" further - making the volume knob of the double DIN radio easy to use.May sound minor but it makes a difference if you're the driver and want to change the volume (and the SWC isn't fully functional).The finished installation looks good and provides appearance and use very close to the OEM equipment.

No issues at all with fitment and it doesn't look too out of place in contrast with the dash bezel (which the factory radio didn't match either). Install is pretty easy, but at least on the Forester, involves reaching to both sides up into the dashboard from the bottom to disconnect the cables for the heater vent and temperature controls.This kit will NOT fit cheap Chinese "MP5 player" or Android OS 2 din radios because they are not the correct size for Metra dash kits like brand name units. This is not the fault of Metra, but the user buying a cheap knockoff radio.

Was able to get a nearly flush fit installing my Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX in my 2014 Crosstrek. This kit is much better (due to a less deep bezel and higher quality plastic) than the Scosche equivalent.

Works great for my 2015 Subaru Forrester 2.5i Premium with the Sony XAV-AX100. Crutchfield had mentioned that his head unit was incompatible with my car due to the volume knob being too recessed, but that's just due to the Scosche installation kit they use. I did not have that problem with this kit.
