La surface avec encoches est arrondie vers les bords de la table, ainsi les cordes en extrémités (Mi) sont trop basses et touchent la table.

Slots cut perfectly. I used this to make Alvarez 12 into a 6 string guitar. Sustain is great. I like a wide neck .

Be careful. Even though this is 1 7/8" it does not fit the guitar neck of the guitar I purchased this for that measured 1 7/8". It's too wide. I'll have to return this product and find somewhere else to purchase one. I don't understand how it could be too big if the guitar headstock/neck... the nut it was supposed to replace measures 1 7/8". Maybe I was sent the wrong one???

I bought this to replace my nut on a 12 string guitar (i bought thru Amazon).I did so to make my 12 string into a workable 6 string & it worked out well.I like a wide nut/neck for my big hands when playing guitar.This nut fit perfectly as far as the width & thickness & I only needed to place a little a shim underneath it first before gluing it onto my 12 string guitar. Other wise it was perfect.
