You will need PEX fittings, PEX tubing, a crimp tool and adapters. I soldered adaptors to my 1/2 copper then made the connections with 12" long tubing. I am certain this was the most simple way to install this setup.

Do you need a working knowledge of changing a bathroom tub faucet. I don’t, but my son was able to put it on for me., He is not a plumber and it did take him sometime but he figured it out. I really like the look of the faucet, it’s functional, strong and it’s beautiful.

Lots of reviews stating this is used or corroded. I thought the same thing when i got mine. I took it with me to 2 plumbing stores and compared it to the ones they have in stock. This is normal for all the solder and copper being exposed to elements and heat. Every single one I looked at had very similar flaws. That being said, I canceled my return and installed it. No leaks, works great, took about 1.5hrs for someone with limited plumbing skills. Saved myself paying a plumber team 300/hr which they were gonna charge me $684 to do this job, not including parts. Use that money, buy the tools, watch some videos, phone a friend, learn a skill. Good luck and God speed!

We installed new Moen faucets and spout on our circa 1992 Jacuzzi spa bathtub to replace the original waterfall spout and valve handles that were both leaking. A valve cartridge kit like this is need for the Moen faucet. I had a plumber do the installation, including adding shut off valves to the supply lines. I inspected the parts in the kit carefully, as others have reported getting split brass cartridge assemblies. Ours were fine and the installation with PEX fittings went fine. Moen has several versions of this kit, I chose the flex hose version as the existing holes in the tub for the faucet handles were on 4" centers. Price much better than other sources.

This connection caused the plumber nothing but grief! He had to go a purchase new spools. I had previously purchased the CC connection that didn’t work either! I also had to buy a special tool so the plumber could turn the taps! Moen is supposedly 'top of the line' for taps/showers, etc and why they don’t make a complete kit for replacement taps is ridiculous. Never again!!

This cost more the faucet set. Ridiculous as should have been included with the faucet. Other than that, easy install and good quality

Bought to replace a failed 10 yr old MOEN faucet stem on a Roman Tub fixture. These parts are not an exact replica of the original and maybe that is a good thing, since the original had a catastrophic failure (galvanic corrosion) which led to TWO holes in the stem and water gushing out everywhere. The hot/cold water stems are notably smaller than the originals and would likely require a flat washer to retrofit them into the holes drilled into the tub deck. Other than those issues, this is a great repair/replacement.
