These are colorful and effective for me! I did use these in conjunction with some repellant wipes. I was in a mosquito infested area, and came out without bites. My husband used only the bracelet with success. I used each bracelet for 2 days.

Have been using different bug bands for years now while camping and just outdoors. We are going in a cruise soon and wanted something nicer than the regular plastic ones. This breaded ones are super cute and the colors work better with more outfits.

Bought these for a trip to the tropics. They seemed to work fairly well. I did not like the fact that I had to tie them onto my wrist and they kept falling off

I used it for a party. I gave all my guests bracelets, and they liked them.A couple of people decided to wear one at the ankle and one on the wrist because they were more targets for mosquitoes, and they were fine.

First off, I love that these don’t look like phone cables. We also like how they adjust, bc myself and my girls have tiny wrists. We bought to use on a trip in Central America. My teens fought over the colors. They are much more stylish than the older versions. I haven’t tried around home, but in Belize and Mexico we found they work better if one was on an ankle in addition to a wrist. Still weren’t 100%, but did work pretty well. And we were hiking in a rain forest at one point. They left a tingling/burning sensation, but it wasn’t enough to pull it off. Overall, we will be using them again.

I bought these bracelets for a trip to Banff National Park in Canada. I have "sweet blood" or however the saying goes, so normally I get eaten alive if the mosquitoes are about. I am very adamant about not putting chemicals on my body if avoidable, especially ones like DEET that are essentially just poison. That said I have had positive experiences in the past using essential oil bug repellents so I bought these. I tied one to my backpack and one to each of my hiking boots and I don't recall being bitten even a single time, with the exception of one sunset hike we did along a river where the mosquitos were relentless (though even on that hike I was left alone once the twilight passed). To be fair I was hiking in the Canadian Rockies and not in a rain forest, but there were plenty of areas where we hiked to or by bodies of sitting water and in one case along a river (and its associated wetlands) where there were visible swarms of mosquitos. I used the same three bands for about five days so I can't speak on their longevity/effectiveness beyond that point, but in my experience they were very effective.
