I paid more for this than other options, but the part looks and feels like much higher quality than many other options. No leaks at initial installation. I think the value for the money will prove out over time.

I needed to install a fuel shut off valve for my kawasaki which had a vacuum fed petcok. And often times I suspected the petcok would drip fuel into the carb and cause engine flooding issue. I looked for a 5/16 inline fuel shut off valve and made the right choice going for this one.* it looks neat and easy to operate , completely shut off fuel flow . The brass connector are braided and fuel hose won't slip loose .I ended up with a manual petcok but still kept the inline shut off valve as it seems durable and easy to twist the knon rather than using petcock knobs.

Bought this to install as a shutoff for my 2022, 1025r john deere. Seems to be well made and compact

I use this on the fuel line for my boat and it works great. It is much more solid than the cheap plastic one I had on before.

Product leaked. My pants smelled like gasoline. Thought maybe I’d slacked off on the install, so I made sure hoses were flush and clamps were properly placed. It still leaked.Thought I’d been too rough with vice grips on hose, so I replaced the upstream hose. Still leaked. Thought it may have been the spring-action clamps, so I replaced them with old-fashioned screw-type clamps. Still leaked.Removed MotionPro valve and installed an ugly, loose fitting inline filter with said hose clamps. No leaks.Realized that, not only had I wasted my money, but my time as well.

Great little petcock... Typical Motion Pro high quality /value ratio. The crucial components such as the barbed T section and block off ball bearing are either brass or a steel with a high quality zinc plating. The "knob" is some type of plastic but feels good, well made, like an ABS or Delrin sort of feel - NOT cheap feeling at all. Most importantly it does its job, and I very much like having an inline fuel cock I don't have to fuss about mounting somewhere. Don't believe the hype surrounding petcocks and flow rate - a 6mm passage is a 6mm passage... Giving it a chrome bath and an enormous price tag isn't going to change that. Physics, yo.

Converted my 1991 GS500 from vacuum petcock to regular on-off petcock. The unit itself is sturdily built and functions very well.I wish they had included something to mount it onto the frame, I ended up having to fashion something from zipties.I also wish they had put an actual lever on the knob to make it easier to turn (there's some resistance and it can be a little tough to turn)Otherwise, it functions really well and can be used as a simple on off petcock.
