All I could use from this kit on my 04 Sabre was the bowl gasket. Jets aren’t labeled at all and don’t look correct, bowl valve and screen were wrong and most of the rest, save for air mix oring and washer didn’t work. FIX THE FITMENT ON THIS!!!

This kit is for a 1999 Honda Shadow Aero VT1100C3part # X0024735HDPack of two (for both carburetors)Starting from the bottom working my way up.A float bowl drain screw o ring is provided and fits.A float bowl o ring gasket is provided and does fit in the base housing and will probably work, but it is smaller in diameter than the stock gasket, meaning that it will not fill up the space in the groove completely when tightened down. They provide an idle screw needle, spring, o ring and washer. It looks a bit different than the original but would work if I needed it. My originals are fine and will be using the o ring but not the washer. The provided washer is made out of aluminum. The original one is steel and I will use that one. The added benefit to using the original needle is that the number of turns out will stay the same for initial tuning. They provide a float bowl valve seat and plunger. The valve seat fuel inlet hole is about half the size of the original valve so I can't use it. The new plunger will fit into the old valve seat, but bottoms out at the metal clip that holds the plunger to the float bowls. So I can't use the new plunger either. They supplied two aluminum washers for the float valve seat because they couldn't be bothered by supplying a single piece that was thick enough to do the job, and both together are not as thick as the original, so I can't use that either. The idle jet they supplied looks like it might be the right size at the end hole, but emulsion holes are smaller than the original jet, so I can't use it.The main jet emulsion tube has brass flashing on the inside where the emulsion holes were drilled. I have the tools to fix that but it should have been taken care of at the factory. Not many people would have such tools (machine size drills bits and jet reamers). They also supply two main jets, both unmarked. So without having your own measuring tools, how would you know what you're putting in.They also supply a main jet needle which has no adjustment capability and is shaped differently than the original.Again, I'll be using the original main tubes and jets and needles. They do not supply the oval o ring for the accelerator pump, so be sure to treat the original carefully. So, in conclusion, This is what I was able to use from this kit.The float bowl drain plug o ring. The float bowl o ring gasket. The idle needle o ring. And that's it folks. Three o rings and the main one (float bowl o ring gasket) is a probably/almost fit.So if you need those three o rings and the price is right, go for it. I was less than thrilled with these kits.

Brought my boggy 2006 Honda Shadow Sabre VT1100C2 back to life. Some of the smaller o-rings were slightly different sizes than the old stock ones I pulled out, so I had to reuse the old ones. If that is important to you, consider buying an OEM o-ring kit. For me, I cleaned and lubed the old ones and reused them. All of the jets fit fine and did not modify the original carb tuning, just cleaned it up a good bit so it runs healthier. The bowl gaskets do fit well. This kit did not contain any of the felt gaskets you sometimes find on the thottle plate shafts on some of these Shadows, but this was not important to me. I rebuilt my carbs for the sole purpose of trying to restore lost power, and this kit worked just fine for that purpose, and at a decent price to boot.

Everything fit well. Each package included two secondary jets. I could not find any stampings or other markings indicating the sizes.

Upon rebuilding my carb on my'99 VT1100 I broke a jet as to why I ordered kit. Long carb needle jet was too skinny, not all O rings where correct size (idle jet rings) missing valuable jet washers, outter jet nut wrong size threading (guessing because it would not thread), rest were okay. But had to use old parts.

I have a 1996 Honda Shadow VT1100C2. I bought it third hand and have been restoring it to new. I knew it needed a carb clean and rebuild. This kit, overall, fit well. There were no bleeder screw O rings, and one of the two originals disintegrated, so that’s a bummer. I also discovered I had larger jets as someone modded this carb in the past, so I retained the old ones, but everything else fit and worked well. Just wish they included fuel bleeder screw o rings.
