Replaced this at the same time as the tensioner pulley. This product had an additional arm/bolt from the original car product (was evident from the item description, so was not a surprise). Looks like it is a much stronger support with the added piece. I found it also made it easier to reinstall the belt, so was a very welcome difference.

What's not to like? It fit perfectly on my Mariner, and came with the extra bolt, as I had the older style with only two bolts holding it on. No more squeaks.

If you have a 2009-2012 Fusion, Escape or anything that has the 2.5 or 2.3L duratec 4 cylinder and electronic power steering, look at your idler pulley in the front - if you have two attachments instead of 3 on the bracket, either swap it out for this one or save up for the $1,000 bill when your timing cover breaks. My timing cover broke because of Fords faulty design at 47k miles. Out of warranty, Ford wanted nothing to do with it - I had it replaced and put this new bracket on so it should never happen again.
