so I tested the SWR and got 1.5-2.1 SWR. this is so far the best antenna I have found for a motorola radio for gmrs. that being said, my XTS3000 does get hot durring a conversation. My XTS2500 has had no issues though, so it could be the age of the 3000.

Just what I needed for my Motorola APX 4000 uhf. My radio did not come with an antenna. This works great and is the real oem motorola product.

I purchased this as a replacement for the OEM NAE6549 / 8505241U05 antenna on my Q-split XTS5000. Transmit and receive range are unchanged. This antenna seats onto the connector and into the housing exactly like the original antenna. You see a lot of arguments online both for and against using APX antennas on XTS radios; this one appears to work perfectly for my application.

Decent price. Fits my Motorola XPR 6500. Couple inches larger than the stubby antenna I had on the radio. Gained me a couple more dB into the repeater and better receive.
