Your cart is empty.Transitioning from lift laps to your favorite trail system usually means making some compromises in your fork's performance unless you've got the time and tools to fiddle with tokens at home. MRP's Ramp Control Cartridge looks to take the hassle out of ramp-up adjustments, replacing the token system for on-the-fly bottom out control that lets you adjust to the current terrain. The Ramp Control Cartridge replaces the top cap and token assembly of current generation Rock Shox Pike, Lyrik, Yari, and Boxxer World Cup Solo Air forks. It takes up about the same space as a single token for similar ramp up when it's wide open, and adjusts from there for additional bottom-out support with 16 clicks of adjustability. This adjustability only impacts the end of the stroke, so you're able to maintain a supple initial feel and overall behavior of the fork with the damper and air pressure while tightening down big-hit capability as much or as little as you need. The Model A is compatible with 2013-2016 Rock Shox Pike forks with 15 x 100mm axle spacing, as well as 2010 and newer Boxxer World Cup Solo Air forks. Model B is compatible with 2015 and newer Pike forks with 15 x 110mm Boost axles, all 2017 Pike forks, and all 2015 or newer Lyrik and Yari forks.

Very easy installation adjustability on the fly for firmness of suspension this product is a little pricey but I feel it's totally worth it for those who ride varying terrain in varying conditions!

Fits a 2020 Marzocchi Z2 29er 130mm Grip Damper fork. Ramp control Fox 34mm model B is recommended for 130mm travel. Model A is for 140mm plus travel forks. Installation is very easy with basic tools, just follow instructions carefully. I normally set my forks with 100lbs of air pressure, with this ramp control I went with 90lbs. I ran it 2 clicks from wide open. It’s a game changer for my fork, it’s more plush and vastly eliminated small trail chatter. There are articles that indicate the mid travel ramp up support diminishes with the MRP, this may be true, however that is exactly what I was looking for, more linear fork travel. I ride mostly XC trails, with 2 clicks from wide open is perfect for me. On rougher trails, give it more clicks to avoid bottoming out. Buy it to improve your entry to mid level forks.

I like to fidget with my shock but not a lot. I know the trails I ride and change the setting to what is appropriate for what I ride, that is the greatest boon here, the ease of adjusting to conditions. I put this on at the same time I increased from a 130 to 160 air shaft. Immediately noticed the difference as I could change the setting on the trail. This didnt help me clear any big gap but it has made the ride much more controlled, a bit faster and definitely more enjoyable.

Amazing addition to my fox factory 34 float fit 4 forks. It allows me to run slightly lower pressure to improve small bump sensitivity and ramps up nicely as the fork moves through its travel on bigger hits. Also helps keep the fork higher in its travel during normal trail riding.

At 240#, I had to run max pressure on my fork. Anything less and I had too much sag and the fork felt sloppy. At max pressure though, the fork felt really harsh. I thought I had to upgrade from a Fox34 to a Fox36 but this did the trick. I run pressures 25psi lower than recommended and still get great ramp up with a nice and supple ride from small bump to mid-stroke. A must have for heavy riders.Caution: DO NOT tighten the small 11MM lock nut beyond a hand tightening. This is clearly stated in the instructions but I did not have that in mind when I over-torqued the heck out of that nut, twisting and damaging the internals of the cartridge. It was completely my fault and MRP offered to fix it if I sent it in. Not wanting to go through that hassle and potential week or more without it, I just bought another one. You've been warned!
