Bought these to replace stock tuners on "Domino," my Squier CV 70's Telecaster Thinline.Installation was simple...perfect alignment with the existing /screws and tuners, BUT...Replacement grommets that came with the tuners were a bit smaller than the existing post holes and kept falling out. But I don't blame this on the manufacturer; the grommets they shipped were what was promised. However, I didn't want to shim the new grommets. So I just left the old ones in place and completed the install with no issues.I put a new set of 10-46 Elixir Nanos on and locked the tuners down on each string, then cut the strings. As I began tuning each string up, some of them slipped/popped out of the tuners...several times. I was kicking myself for cutting the strings too soon. So I grabbed the needle nose pliers and rethreaded the strings. Also, I brought each string up to tune over the course of 12 hrs to allow them to stretch and keep them from popping out under tension. This worked fine, although I've never experienced this before with locking tuners. No other issues since that time; they seem to work really well.Tips:1. Regardless of what people tell you, locking tuners do not improve tuning stability versus traditional tuners. They primarily make it faster/easier to change strings. If you're looking for better tuning stability, your bridge and saddles are more likely the issue.2. Once these tuners are installed, restring the guitar but DON'T CUT THE STRINGS YET. String it, lock the tuners and start tuning up. If the strings keep popping out as tension increases, leaving the strings uncut will make your life simple as you just lock the tuner again and partially tune each string. Come back in 4-5 hours and tighten it again. It may take a few hours to stretch the strings.3. Also, the string slippage may have happened because I use Elixirs and they're coated...but who knows. If it's the Elixirs, it doesn't matter to me because the superiority of the strings is worth a little bit of hassle.

These locking tuners are nice looking and they were drop in with no mods for guitar except had to drill screw holes. G,B and high E strings still slip and get out of tune. Defeats purpose of locking tuners.

I was gifted this amazing Squier Stratocaster 40th Anniversary in seafoam green. I really love this guitar. These tuner were easy to install. Just remove the old tuner and replace with these. The function greatly and make string change easy, with less raps around the post and nicely looking the strings. No head dive from them, I have not play live with the guitar, but I have recorded with it a few times and the weight seems about the same as the originals. Awesome value for the money. No alterations needed to install. The original holes did the trick.

Installs easily on Squire Paranormal Strat-o-Sonic. No drilling needed. Screw holes match perfectly. Looks like stock tuners after installed. Smoothness of rotation is not the on the same par as the more well known brands of tuners that come on top tier guitars, but still a solid locking upgrade to what came on it. Holds the strings in tune adequately with no slippage.

Packaged well, took a wee bit longer to ship than I had hoped but it is that time of year. The product itself is as advertised per the schematics and seems to be machined accurately. Happy to have found this supplier for my partscasters.

These tuners look good and mounted perfectly onto a Squire Cabronita Tele, but I had to lube each one of the tuners to get them to turn without using pliers. They work acceptably now, but the first tuner is still rough and "skritchy", meaning you can feel the friction of the internal gear when you try to turn the peg. It also doesn't tune up smoothly, instead you turn the thing 3x before anything happens, then it jumps up all at once. It's not Hipshot, so I guess you get what you pay for.

The tuners are attractive and look very nice installed. The issue is they do not stay in tune after playing or sitting while not being used. Pretty but, useless.

They slip directly into the CV 60s Strat I had. I didn’t need the bushing but you have to forcibly put the tuner into the original bushing. An upgrade for sure. Not the best quality tuner out there but for the price they can’t be beat! Would definitely buy again!
