I really dislike eating off cold plates so this is perfect for me. It heats your plates without making them too hot to handle. Yes, you can use your oven to heat your plates but I often forget they are in there and they get too hot. This does the trick. Is it silly - perhaps - but it works.

After a lifetime of dining off cold plates and food chilling faster than can be eaten. I decided to take the plunge, invest a few bucks and clutter my kitchen space further. Well, I should have done this years ago! The warmer folds flat and tucks in behind other stuff easily taking minimal surface space. Plus it in and you heated (hot! ) plates in a few minutes - even 5 minutes is enough to warm them. Maintenance free. Just remember to unplug when finished.

Please note your dishes need to be made of a material that holds the heat produced by the plate warmer like bone china or stone. Unfortunately we have plates that are made from a material that cools quickly. Wish we kept the dishes we had a few back they would have been perfect to use with the plate warmer. I think you can probably guess the brand name of plates a lot of people own and have in their cupboards.

The heater blanket heated 6 plates to a perfect temperature in about 10 minutes. The one drawback is no on/off option or timer. Walk away to cook, etc. and now the plates are too hot to touch. I’m excited to use it for company and, now that I gave it a dry-run, am ready to ask Siri to set a timer for 10-minutes!

Really neat item. We always found it troublesome that our dinner got cold on s cold plate. Now our food stays warm enough to finish a c cooked meal while it is still hot.

We like our plates hot when eating and saw this and give it a try. They get hot! The plates stay hot. No more using the oven to get plates warm. Great for keeping food warm as a buffet style a well .

Wasn’t that a song from the 70s? But it applies here. Just be prepared to use oven mittens to handle your plates if you leave them in the heating pad too long. A circuit timer or thermostat would be helpful.

This plate warmer works very well. It does get extremely hot, so you will want to unplug it a Solid 15 minutes before you use the plates. It would be more perfect if it had a temperature dial so The plates would not get quite so hot.

Kitchen cupboards & chilled dinner plates in winter. Seems to be a chronic problem living in Canada. If the cupboards were on a inside wall there wouldn’t be an issue but I didn’t design the layout of the kitchen & pulling down the cupboards to add more insulation behind them just isn’t worth the effort & cost. I had for years run hot water in the sink & let the plates soak but that became annoying especially when the kitchen was super busy. So… enter the plate warmer. Easy to use & works in just 5 minutes. Hot food is served HOT, not lukewarm. Why go to all the trouble preparing great meals & ruining them with ice cold plates when there is an easy solution. A plate warmer !!
