Good guitar hero controller for ps3. The buttons are very stiff but it works pretty well. Hopefully they soften up over time. Connects easily. All I had to do was plug in the USB dongle and turn it on. Would recommend to anyone who needs a replacement guitar controller

Connected to my console fine and the buttons on the fretboard worked. However, the strum bar didn’t work making the item useless.

So first off it does what it says it does. And it works. However. This item is not amazing. Feels cheap. Strumming is a little loose imo. And buttons are a little clunky.I’ve put 20 hours on it and my batteries are still going strong. The controller shuts it self off to save battery life if you leave it on. Works on pc, steam deck, and ps3.Great for clone hero and you can even use it on emulation.But once again that’s where it stops being a good product imo. Also really wild that you have to mod the controller if you want to use 2 on the same system. You know because it’s a keyboard not a controller. That’s right bet you didn’t see that when looking to buy this.That was my major issue. Fortunately I only grabbed one even tho I had planned on buying 2. They need to rework the coding make it a joystick or a controller so you can use more than one. Or make it super simple to rebind the keys for the buttons at no extra cost.

Had low expectations but was surprised, buttons feel good and responsive, easy to connect, feels sturdy, works amazing with clone hero with functional whammy bar and star power tilt funtion.

I've only tried this with Clone Hero on PC, but it works wonderfully. I'm unsure if it's the game or the guitar, but the tilt function doesn't seem to work for me. Strum bar feels mildly loose. All in all it's still a 5 star product - been wanting to get a new one of these for years now without having to go elsewhere for used product, and this does the job well!

The reason for my purchase was to play clone hero on my Windows PC. For single player it worked amazingly once you figure out how to map the buttons. Unfortunately it won't work for multiplayer because the PC thinks it's a keyboard and if you added another controller you would just add another keyboard and the controllers would be overlapping with each other.
