This is the best bike lock value on Amazon. The two pieces work together to secure your bike wherever you wander. The locking mechanism is very solid and the key action is smooth. It's a bit heavy but it's great for fat tire bikes. I'm pleased with the chain length and size of the D lock. Highly recommended.

Seems to be a heavy, sturdy, reasonably well made lock. Nice that it comes with an added chain. The fact that the lock comes with no added security validations like Sold Secure or ART makes me unwilling to rely upon it as a sole security mechanism. As an additional layer(s) of security to more tested and validated solutions, I think this lock only enhances the protection you'd get there.

The quality is great, and easy to lock and unlock. It came with 3 keys that were placed at the top part of this lock. This can be used for bicycles and motorcycles. It's kinda heavy but easy to use.

This is our first bike lock and my husbands idea of using it is to lock up his tool cage which works perfectly well too. It’s such a nice lock to have and never really paid any mind to how flexible bike locks can be and what can be locked with this style of lock which is a lot of things. Definitely worth the money, it came with 4 keys which is very handy, very easy to use because of the flexibility of it and it fits through any hole a standard lock can fit through.

This lock's best feature is the included bracket to attach it to your bike. The hardest part about using a U lock with a bike is where to put it, and while the clamp bracket is plastic, it's still a better mounting mechanism than the Kryyptonite velcro that slips all over the place.That said.... there is a ton of plastic on this lock. The lock itself is metal, but the casing is plastic and could easily be smashed, and the lock itself feels cheap compared to similar Kryptonite locks. The collar is not especially thick, and the included chain is pretty thin. It would not last long against an angle grinder. If your use case is to lock a bike for a couple minutes to run in and grab a coffee or something, or to deter someone from walking off with a cheap old acoustic bike, this is probably adaquete, and the mounting bracket offers utility for this sort of use case. But.... I wouldn't use it to lock an expensive e-bike for any length of time.

This U-lock with chain by NDakter appears to be well-built and heavy duty that it will deter many thieves, however, like all locks a professional thief with the right tools will still get there way with steeling if persistent. So far, I have used this on my mountain bike, city bike, as well as electric scooter for short term security and only during daylight hours when traveling locally and making pitstops. Living in NYC, I'm a bit paranoid to use this lock nor any other lock for long term or overnight unfortunately.In addition to this U-lock and chain being heavy duty though, it's also quite heavy in weight so it may not be ideal to carry around but that would be true for many other lock brands as well and being heavy, it's also makes it more difficult to cut through. Overall, would highly recommend and at current price point when compared to similar locks.
