As someone new to lighting, I really liked this light. I had previously used an 80W kit that didn't seem very high-quality, so I opted for this one instead. While the light intensity isn't drastically different, the build quality is a clear step up. Everything is better designed—for instance, the power adapter comes with an attachment for the light stand. There's also an adapter included for battery use, which looks very practical, although I haven't had a chance to test it yet. The Bowens mount adapter is included, allowing me to use it with my current softbox. Connecting to the app was straightforward, and the user interface makes remote control very easy. Overall, I'm very impressed with the thoughtful design and improved materials of this light.

The price was amazing for a bi color 130 watt light. It's fairly small, powerful and the fan is ultra quiet so no problem for interviews. The app works flawlessly. I set it up with a softbox and it looks and performs very well.

Lightweight, easily travelled with! It provides enough light to mimic sunlight indoors in small rooms. Glad I chose this over the bulkier light -- If I get a heavier light it would definitely have to be brighter than this.

I'll try to make a long story short. I work in the broadcast news industry and I cannot tell you how much these little bad boys has saved our shoots! Be it that it can be battery powered is the biggest plus! It doesn't beat the sun but it definitely helps as filler lights if needed. As for a controlled environment... perfection! It has bluetooth control through Neewer's app and a host of cool FX functions as well. The reflector throws the light to give more power, and it comes with a bowens mount adapter to add soft boxes and other bowens diffusers. I never have issues out of the Neewer brand!!! 5 stars.
