Excellent money saver. It takes me about 1 hr to fill 30 capsules for a month. You get the advantage of using your own coffee and for very cheap pods.I think the adhesive came loose only 1 time out of 100, which means I probably didn't let the pods dry fully before applying the seal.

Product works using old pods. It is more complicated than shown to get the cover aligned. Lots of triming afterwards. Not sure I will continue to use.

With these prices going up everyday, this is a great way to save money. You are able to reuse all your pods and save money by filling up your pod. These were so easy to use and refill.

Love it! Very easy to use. The cap seals well, and is easy to remove to recycle after brewing. This invention gave me the possibility to use my favorite coffee with the machine, without the hectic price tag of the pods. Highly recommend

I love my Nespresso Vertuo coffee maker, it has been the only coffee I make myself for the past several years. I take comfort in the free recycling program for the aluminum pods, but it’s still expensive and feels like I’m generating waste.I also love to travel and buy fresh, local coffee. Making a French press is delicious, but time-consuming and more acidic - so I have a collection of delicious coffee that I never drink… UNTIL NOW!This little fella is convenient, tidy, and well-designed! The base neatly holds the emptied pod, the brush is the right size to clean the rim for a proper seal, the cap evenly tamps the coffee into the pod, the foil lid is correctly sized and easy to peel… then, the cap flips over to provide a perfect seal!My machine accepts the pods because the bar code is still visible and, as you can see in one photo, there’s a hint of coffee residue but no blowouts! The whole process takes more time than simply ordering and disposing… but maybe it’s okay that I put in a hint of effort now and then? (Legit… 20 minutes to prepare 10 pods start to finish, for me that seems like a reasonable chore while watching a game over the weekend!)

I was skeptical but love it now. I'll never buy another Nespresso pod again. You'll save money. Bought ground coffee when it was 2 for 1 at Tom Thumb. Kinda messy at times especially when in a hurry.

I just got a Nespresso machine and got this to help save money on pods. It works really well - the foils are all sticking really well so far, and they're actually way easier to remove than the original pod tops. The only thing I think is strange is that using the top part to tamp down the coffee doesn't work if the pod is resting in the bottom holder. The shape prevents the tamping part to lay flat (kind of hard to describe). But I just hold the pods to tamp the coffee and use the holder to seal the foil on. It does the job.

Edited 5/27/24: I have made maybe 60 pods now and they worked great at first. The question is, do you want a catastrophic event if they dont? One pod I made came apart in my friend’s machine and made a horrible noise. We couldn’t get it clean enough to use so had to buy a new machine. We would have had it professionally cleaned but no one seems to handle Breville Nespresso machines in this area that I could find. Then it happened in my machine when I went to remove the pod … just the top came off but got a fair amount of grounds flung around while trying to pry the pod out. I ended up turning it upside down and then the grounds fell out all over everything even though I did it over a trash bag. I had to use my fingernails to get ahold of the pod bottom and squish it enough to grasp it to pull out. The machine works okay now.I was very careful making these pods but as you can see the system can fail so decide if you’re really are saving money if one potentially comes apart in your machine.————————————————————————There are some really good comments for this product, so read those. My best tip is to use tweezers to remove the old foil after cutting an x on top with a razor blade or craft knife. You can remove most of the foil from the edges that way much more easily than pulling with your fingers. Bonus: the Nessus foil is even easier to remove after brewing your refurbished pod. You don’t need to remove every little bit of foil from the edges so don’t let that slow you down. Make sure the new foil sticks well by dusting the coffee off the edges before sealing the pod. It takes a fair bit of time to refill a tube of pods but do it when listening to an audiobook and time will slide by. I have not had any problems with this set or my new pods. Just do it!!

Previously I bought a different brand. I had a few issues and read numerous reviews about what might solve those problems. So far this with this brand it is easier and faster to get a good seal. The foil seals are thicker and high quality. The instructions for use could be clearer. I watched a video and then there was no problem. The taste has improved because with the other ones I was getting coffee grounds in my coffee. That didn’t happen with the company bought pods. Even though I was already recycling my pods through Nespresso, reusing them is also environmentally responsible. These seals and the kit are definitely worth the price. My only complaint is that it shows that the side that helps seal the foil also acts for you to tamp down the grounds in the pod. It needs to be long for it to reach and pack the coffee grounds.
