This is pretty straigtforward, it looks just like the picture and works as described. There are instructions included but they are not needed. I will say it took a bit more physical effort than I expected to set the height and the angle, but you don't have to be a weightlifter--just keep pushing and tugging. That may loosen up but for now it makes me comfortable that the stand won't collapse under the weight of a book. The wires that hold up paper or hold a book open also slip down into the tray if you need them out of the way. It's very utilitarian-looking, nothing fancy about it.I have it right by my computer as I often have to type up handwritten documents or transcribe something from a book. I can get it to exactly the height and angle I want so I don't have to keep looking down at my desk and up at the computer. It swivels easily too. I'll probably find other uses for it too, but for my intended use it's just what I needed.

This book stand/reading stand is nice quality, well made, and really versatile. You can use this for reading an actual paper book, reading on your Kindle, iPad, laptop, etc. I got this for my iPad and/or Kindle.

I do a lot of work on my iPad, and I find that it is really uncomfortable to keep it on my lap while I am typing. I looked for this very item so that I could do my work in a much more comfortable fashion. So glad that I found this!This stand is fantastic for reading books, using my iPad, cookbooks, music scores, etc. There are 2 side clamps that keep books in place. And the stand swivels 360° making it convenient to move it, in the position that I need it in. It’s truly wonderful.I’m really happy with this stand, obviously. I’m able to type so much faster now, and with less mistakes. This stand is exactly what I needed. It’s going to be the one thing that is there when I need to write a review, send an email, or do whatever I would like. I am just loving this stand, and I love the price too. It’s great to get something of such quality for a great price. True quality.
