NGK Wire Set: 7mm ultra-low resistance magnetic core, wire wound ignition cable with OEM or better specified spark plug and distributor boots. High temp silicone jacket resists underhood temperatures up to 482 degrees F. High density, premium fiberglass braiding reinforcement over EPDM / silicone inner insulation for superior dielectric strength and excellent cable tensile strength. NGK wire sets are built to meet stringent OEM tolerances for a variety of vehicles. They utilize a construction method known as variable pitch wire winding to create resistance to radio frequency interference. The variable pitch winding provides suppression throughout a very wide range by scrambling and breaking up the electrical waves radiated by the firing of the spark plugs. Installed on my 95' hard body. They have been fantastic and look great. I was replacing some random parts store wires and these were noticeably thicker, better plugs and contacts and had more flexibility to them.

Easy to install, wires are marked for each cylinder. Runs great, looks even better. Better than OEM cheapies.

High quality wire set, would recommend. Definitely labeled incorrectly for my 97 Nissan pickup, the #2 wire was longer than the #3 wire. Just follow the numbers on your distributor and you'll be fine. The #1 wire was about 4 inches longer than the stock wire I pulled off #1, makes it difficult to keep from touching other wires.

I've never had AM radio noise until I changed my plug wires to these at 130k miles. I listen to a lot of talk radio while commuting in my truck...but now it's mostly ignition interference noise. The wires are marked "R-8" which would lead someone to believe that they're "resistor type" and "8mm". Whether that is true or not, they definitely don't shield the ignition noise like they should. If my old wires were still usable, I'd reinstall them in a heart beat.

The plug-number that's inscribed onto each of these wires appears to be incorrect! On my four cylinder engine, the #1 plug is the farthest away from the distributor. The #2 plug is next farthest away (#3 & #4 plugs = shortest distance); Thus, these two plug wires should be the longest and 2nd-longest, respectively. Well, with these two plug wires are actually labeled "4" and "2," respectively-- meaning that they are for the #4 and #2 plugs, respectively...The other two wires are, therefore, also labeled incorrectly. To remedy this "problem," I had to ignore the wire number and simply just connected the wires (based on their length) to their proper locations.... Other than this annoying issue, the wires work just fine.... The MFG needs to look into this, though.************* Update ************3 1/2 years later: 5 Stars, instead of the 3-Stars that I posted originally. These are some OUTSTANDING, high-quality spark-plug wires! They are STILL performing very well on my '92 Nissan Stanza. Heck, they still look and FEEL new -- showing no obvious signs of beak-down or deterioration!I honestly don't know how long one is suppose to go without changing out their spark-plus wires but, let me say this much -- If it ain't broken, don't fix it! Oh, and the mis-labeling thing..... no big-deal. More importantly, these wires are proving to be worth the money!
