This is a helpful kit to get started in creating a NMEA2000 network. I used this on my fishing boat. The kit is complete, but it would have been nice to have at least one additional "T". The 2 port T is all that can be used to connect devices. The power T is of course, used to power the network. I found the 2 port T to be slightly warped as is evidenced in one of my photos. The defect did not hamper the installation of the drop wires but if I add additional T's in the future, the warp will make it difficult to mount to a flat surface. All in all, I found the kit to be a good value. It is indeed a started kit and for that it fits the bill.

Nice starter kit, very reasonably priced. This is my first foray into NMEA 2000, I watched a couple videos and saw just how simple the design really is. This kit has everything I need to add a GPS puck to my digital multi-gauge.

Comes with everything you need for a two device network including power tee and terminators. For example, to connect a chartplotter and a GPS antenna to each other…this comes with everything you need for that. Plus, NMEA 2000 is all standard so if you need to expand later, it’s easy to do with just more tees and drop cables.The value here is fantastic compared to OEM brands and I can’t really see a difference in quality. Stuff works perfectly and arrived quickly. No issues.

This NMEA 2000 expansion kit is not brand specific. I have almost all RayMarine electronics, and I am looking to add some more hardware. This kit plugs right into the RayMarine backbone at a third the price! What's not to like?

This set is everything you need to set up a small, basic NMEA 2000 network once you acquire the proper engine specific adapter. NMEA 2000 is simple plug and play, as they say. The set includes the power cable. All the connectors fit together nicely and the cables all look great. This is the way to get engine data on your fish finder display at a reasonable price.
