Had to order this tool to remove the halogen lights in our range hood. Both my husband and I tried to remove the bulbs with the tool but could not get it to suction on the bulb to remove them. Called repairman, he tried to use our tool, would not work. He used his tool which looked exactly the same and his worked. Would not recommend this tool.

I watched my husband trying to remove the bulb (jokes were made) without success. Being that in a previous home, he resorted to using a screwdriver and leaving scrape marks on the metal, I suggested he Google for tips. He found this item which I promptly ordered and the next day he replaced the lightbulb in a flash. Yes, it’s pricy but it’s a must in this household.

It is not worth getting. It does not fit the MR16. Do not waste your time and money. It is garbage.

Does the job. FINALLY was able to remove a bulb that had been stuck for months.Only downside is it seems a bit pricey for what you get. But it works

First of all, it works great. Those kind of lightbulbs are an heresy and this little tool solved my problems. Still, it feels a lot cheaper than what it looks like on the product's page. The pictures make you think it's a soft suction cup mounted on a solid plastic handle with a pressure release pin, but it is really not the case. It is one piece of soft rubber which should cost 5$ and not 30$.

Not sure if it's not by design or not... one of the Oven hood lamp was out and that was little greasy.. but it didn't help. So was a waste of money.

Worked perfectly for my Wolf Hood. The bulbs felt like they were glued in from the oil residue, but after constantly playing with it, gently twisting back and forth, the bulbs came lose. Watch youtube How To videos on this, it is needed.

I don't understand the negative reviews unless the younger generation just doesn't know how to use a suction cup - that's all this thing is. It's a soft black rubber suction cup with a twist handle. We have those cursed (I hate them!) GU10 base recessed bulbs in both our bathrooms and lost the original sucker that came with the fixtures, you can't get those bulbs out without one.Bought this one, changed all five bulbs in the master bath in less than ten minutes, start-to-finish, and that was standing on the vanity to reach the fixture overhead. This can't get any easier to use. I don't understand how anyone has a problem with it. Has plenty of suction, and if it doesn't stick the first time, spit on it, it sticks just great. You stick it, turn it, then simply pinch the suction cup with your fingers, comes right on, sticks to the bulbs like glue.I'd highly recommend this thing and will probably buy a couple more for when we lose this one!

First, it is way too expensive for the product. It works, but not very well. I would suggest looking in Amazon for suction cups where there are several choices . The MR 16 lamp changer Head is about 35 mm in diameter so buy a suction cup that size or a little larger. As an example, you can buy a 20 pack, 45 mm in diameter for $7.99. I think they would work as well if not better. I plan on returning this the Nora Track suction Cup, too expensive and not very good.

I purchased the Nora Track Light NRS90-N20 Suction cup for MR16.My mom's bathroom lights needed to be changed, and the older lights were stuck! Because the holders had the bulbs recessed into them, it was difficult to get a grip on the bulbs to turn and remove them. They were GU10s, so they had the peg connectors which needed to turn so you can remove them. The Nora Track Light suction cup worked well to get the bulbs to turn so they can be removed! By applying them to the glass of the GU10s I was able to get a grip via the glass and turn the bulbs. While the glass lens came off because the lights were old, it was easy to get a grip on the bulbs after they turned so they can pull out.I also used the suction cup to help with the install of the new bulbs. Once I got the bulb into the fixture, I was able to attach to the lens of the new bulbs to turn them so they are secure into the fixture. While the suction cup seems quite small when you get it, once you use it, you'll see it's perfect for MR16 and GU10 halogen/LED bulbs!

This is a wonderful tool that makes the job of the removal and installation of recessed bulbs a breeze. There is a learning curve however and you need to remember that practice makes perfect.Rule #1 and foremost is do not use this on a hot bulb. The heat will soften the rubber and make it less effective for suction. Rule 2 is jiggle, jiggle, jiggle. That little suction cup doesn’t have the torque capability to loosen a stubborn bulb. If the bulb is several years old, things could get sticky in there so be patient with removal.JIGGLE! Just like that quirky lock that needs some persuasion for the key to turn. Jiggle especially while it is turning. And when you replace the bulb put a little soap on the threads for easier installation and removal down the road.

There is absolutely no way to get our recessed small GU10 halogen light bulbs out so I ordered this way overpriced little tool. As soon as I tried it, I was terribly disappointed because the suction is great however when you turn the suction cup, it just slides over the slippery surface of the bulb. I was ready to send it back, when I gave it one more try and I guess I figured out the secret. After you attach this suction cup to the bulb, you need to pull and then turn and voila the bulb will come right out. After I discovered this secret, all the bulbs came out one after another! Yeah, no more broken nails and cut skin trying to get these little bulbs out of their socket! The suction cup works great to put the new bulb in too.
