Strong magnet holds through 1/2 glass well. Looks great perfect to keep new frags while they grow and acclimate.

Really like it. Wish the backing was also painted. Using in a F.W.A., going to hang some plants from it. Secondary reason I chose this was to reduce flow from filter out put. Works perfect. Magnet is super strong! Very nice.

Gave 4 stars bc it arrived broken due to inadequate wrapping (obviously you can’t ship ceramic in paper alone) but it was an easy repair so I kept it and glued it back together. Looks much better in the tank than a regular drag rack. Magnet is strong.

As you open the box it’s packaged well but gosh this thing is nothing like rock, had a coworker open the box and she said did you order play-doh with scratches on it. For $30 you’d expect more of a real looking piece of rock-work. Yes it’ll be covered in coralline algae and yes the magnet might be a little pricey(look them up individually) but still this is a disappointment. Really was looking forward to adding it to my reef tank but 2nd guessing it now.

Shipping was fast and as describe. Magnet is powerful. The only thing that i didnt like with it for it to have 5 stars is that the holes are too small only their plugs will fit. So for me i have to unmount my coral from their plugs. If they made the holes a little bigger so it will be somewhat universal for a purpose of being a frag rack.

I figured some of the low-stars on this product was because, perhaps, the customer received a lemming. My experience was exactly the opposite. First, the magnet is more than strong enough to go through my 3/4" glass and holds onto the tray WELL. It looks great too, but you can tell that by looking at the picture. Eventually, it will be covered in coralline algae anyways, so the initial purple is not permanent, unless for some crazy reason you clean it regularly. I am not certain if one cleans it regularly that it will not start showing up chips in it, revealing very white plaster underneath. I think you'll be very happy with this purchase. If however, your glass is thicker than 3/4", I'm not sure how well the magnet will hold.

I really like the rack a lot. Once coralline algae grow on it I'll like it better. I do have two problems with it, which made me almost list it as a 4 star. Right now, the rack is blue in color and does not look like the picture. Most coralline algae is purple or pink. The rack I received is blue with hints of pink. It will take some time to match. Do don't be alarmed if yours come blue. Also if I try to move the rack up or down from the outside, it starts twisting. I have to use my algae magnet scrapper to move it up without reaching in the water. That's not all that big of a problem, but two magnets one on each end would prevent that from being a issue.
