Good for a fishing box, but definitely not surgical instrument quality. I put one in my toolbox also. For about $3 apiece, I am keeping these, good enough for use as a tool. Stainless steel but I don't know if they will rust. No recommendation for purchase either way.

Being short stature & dealing with lower limb issues, this 12 inch extra-long hemostat helps me to retrieve items on the floor without straining myself. It, also, adds to my independence when I need the extra reach high enough to get to an item or set an item in place. It's very useful in that I've bought extra to have available around my home.
