I saw the photos on Amazon and noticed it was the same as the original I had in my dishwasher (Made in Mexico). This was a main reason to buy + prime shipping.Packaging is well. And it worked perfectly in my first test to drain water from my Kitchen Aid dishwasher. Will update review if I’ve issues.

I liked that it was low cost and shipped quickly. Once I opened the package I realized the pump electrical connector housing was broken but still usable (disappointing). I then installed it and the pump whinned so loudly I didn't feel comfortable continuing to use it. The pump did install properly and did not leak, its just has an extremely loud screeching grinding noise when in operation (so loud I can here it all the way accross the home in my masterbedroom even with the door closed and the TV on, and this was not the case with the original, the original motor could not be heard at all). I have opted to return the part for a replacement, once the part comes in if the one I receieve works well, does not havea loud screeching metallic noise, and is not broken like this one, I will change my overall rating for it. It is supposed to be here by 1/4/2024, so we will see what happens then, mabye I just got a bad one, I really hopes it works out.

I was a bit hesitant to purchase this since it is not a genuine OEM product but the price was great and it looked exactly like the OEM part. Our Whirlpool dishwasher wasn’t doing the final drain anymore and we were almost always left with water on the inside bottom of the dishwasher. After doing some research and troubleshooting we decided to replace the pump. Husband had an easy time replacing it. It fit perfectly and it is not noisier than the original pump. We’ve had it installed for about 6 weeks and it has been working as it should! I will update if anything changes.Additional note and tip: Check your dishwasher drain hose! We thought this pump died on us but we realized that the drain hose in the back of the dishwasher was slightly kinked, not allowing good water flow.

I was able to replace the pump from underneath without having to uninstall the d/w. Took me about 15-20 minutes. This part looked the same as the old one, and works perfectly, at least so far. My only real complaint is about my $700 piece of junk W/P dishwasher itself. Only 3 years old and already I have replaced plastic top rack, water inlet solenoid valve, and now this pump. My old one was 20 years old and still working great when I remodeled the kitchen. Wish I could have it back!

I was quoted by Plumber $265 for this pump and another $200 for service call and getting it installed. I ordered this from Amazon for around $50, and had it installed within a few minutes. Saved me lots of money. Highly recommend.

I had a service person out to figure out the intermittent failure to drain. Although the sump was changed due to leakage, the pump was not. We still had a failure of the drain cycle. I first changed the drain hose because it has a check valve. However we still had problems. The old pump appeared fine but clearly was failing. So fare he new pump is working. It was easy to do the replacement. If you choose to do it from below without removing the machine from the cabinet you need to use a shop vac and a thin piece of hose or straw to completely drain the sump. Push the hose into the pump chamber and run the shop vacuum . Wait 15 minutes and vacuum again to get most of the water out. The pump easily twists off turning left while pushing a tab. To reinstall twist to right and make sure the tab engages and the pump is squarely on the sump. You can misjudge this working in the blind. The wire is a bit fiddly as there is a small clip that needs to be pried outward a bit. Be sure the power is off because the pump is at line voltage.

Perfect perfectly and save me a bunch of money. However it seems to be a bit lower than the original drain pump. Does a John Knisely however.

Perfect replacement for my Whirlpool model WDT750SAHZ 0. So five stars for the pump I purchased here. One star for my year and a half old dishwasher pump I had to replace.I could hear the old pump humming, and it would occasionally cut on and drain some water, so I went through the motions, thinking it was the drain lines and how they had the dishwasher installed originally. So I installed a high loop and ensured the new drain line wasn’t clogged like the old one. Good to go. Still wouldn’t drain with the old pump. So in steps new pump. This new pump was easy to install, tilt the dishwasher up a bit and unclip the hose line and old pump. Clip in new pump and drain line. Dishwasher works good as new again! Good product. We will see how long it lasts.
