My Kitchenaid refrigerator defrost cycle was not working and the evaporator coil was icing up. I went into test mode and could hear a relay click but found 0 voltage at the heating element terminals. There were two of these relays on the board so I desoldered them and replaced both of them. Put the board back in and went back to defrost test mode and the heating element immediately got hot and frost started melting off the evaporator coil. Very happy. $11 spent vs $350 on a new control board.
