Very good. You just got to have enough sag to properly cover +3m hammocks.

This is a very nice tarp for your hammock setups. It has plenty of tie offs and all of the seams are reinforced and sealed. Just tested it in a small rain storm and it held up in the wind.It doesn't come with side tie outs. So you're going to need some additional elastic and some cordage in your kit to make it all work.I made a bunch of soft shackles so I could quickly get things connected without any hardware.

It is a really light tarp, with more attachments than other Tarp ,and what's more, it's quality; I'm not afraid of a problem happening, what I also like is their colors; discreet and natural, it is easier to go unnoticed, I will buy another one in another color for sure.Thank you Onewind for selling good products at acceptable prices,I am buying a lot of your products !

Used the tarp a few times now and in a few storms. One was pretty windy. Tarp held up great no leakage kept me dry and out of the wind. The snake skin is a great add on and worth it for easy setup and take down. Nice it includes the stakes and guyline everyntibg out of the box to go. Wish they made a 13ft x10 version that is the only real con for me as i cant easily use the storm doors on this one with my 12ft hammock. Only left to test is how it holds up to freezing temps.

The Onewind rainfly replaced my old one which finally ripped when snow fell on it from a tree. I wanted something light, durable, and with lots of options on how it could be set up. This rainfly fits the bill perfectly. The price was low enough to keep my wife from complaining, and it delivers all the qualities I wanted. With all its tie-outs you can set it up so many ways and being able to close off the ends is great in the wintertime or with heavy weather. The tie-outs on either side of the ridgeline allow you to widen the inside dimensions using poles or just some sticks you find. You can spend a lot more on similar rain flys, but why when this is available?

I recently purchased this tarp. I like it a lot but the instructions for the different possible configurations are horribly poor. That's why I'm giving it a 4 rating. Very good quality. The instructions have QR codes to capture with your smart phone but the QR code shows nothing related to the tarp or it's configurations.I "did" go to a few of my outdoor sites on YouTube but even these reviewers don't understand the black plastic curly-Q clips and how to use them. The manufacturer assumes that users are highly trained camping professionals that have some high acquired mental intuitition to figure out the different configurations.I "did" buy telescoping poles after setting the tarp up for the first time. My intent is to use the tarp as an equipment shelter or a sitting shelter in rain or snow at my camp sites. If the manufacturer sees this review, PLEASE improve your instructions on configurations, clearly showing where the tie-downs are located. Thank you!March 23, 2022 UpdateUsed it for the first time camping this week. Went well after the 4th try. It helps to know two knots. Use a Siberian knot on the first tree. Use a Trucker’s Hitch knot on the other end to get the rope tight. Lots of trouble figuring out running the rope thru the tarp. Easy at the ends. Videos show the rope UNDER the middle of the tarp. So, why did they place a double loop in the geometric center of the tarp on the TOP side of the tarp?If you run the rope on the TOP side of the tarp, through the loop in the center of the tarp, then the tarp will sag between the three support points (the two ends and the center). We set it up in a “lean-to” configuration so we can sit under the tarp on camp chairs, and used two telescopic poles and guyed off the poles. The telescopic poles, guy lines and additional stakes do not come with the tarp. We used the 4 supplied stakes on the back of the lean-to part of the tarp. This configuration worked well, but it would be good if One Wind would provide more configurations, clearly showing different configurations AND where the rope threads through. The tarp comes with 8 nice lengths of reflective paracord but no instructions are provided on how these are used.

Full disclosure, I am a full blown hammock camping nerd. I actually bought this to use as a two person tarp, but I'll be taking it solo too now that I've set it up and looked at it.My wife and I were planning a backpacking trip and wanted to try out the Dutchware beetle buckle tandem system, for which you need a wider rectangular tarp with a 12' ridgeline. As much as I wanted to go cottage vendor on that, I simply cannot afford one from dutch or hammock gear or warbonnet or the like. At $200 for a tarp that's a bit beyond my budget. One day I will get one, but it's not gonna happen this year.I looked at this one, had seen the previous version before, and was shocked to see they made it longer and out of silnylon, and tons of tieout points. That's a heck of a deal for $85. I swapped out all of the cordage for my own dyneema guylines, linelocks, and stakes, but I do that with every backpacking tarp to fit my setup style. The stuff they provide is not bad tho. All I really care about is the quality of the tarp itself. All of the stitching looks great, the tieout points are properly reinforced, and the ridgeline is taped. The side panel pullouts are a nice touch too at this price point. As you can see in the photos (some of which I took on an extremely windy day), I've got a few pics of it set up as winter/storm mode as how I'll be using it solo, and then also with the head end corners propped up on trekking poles for when the wife and I hang two hammocks under it. And with the continuous ridgeline I am able to use my trekking poles as a pole mod for the side panel pullouts. It's also not too heavy. Not the lightest either, but it's definitely fine for backpacking. All in all, this is a steal. I am very impressed and thankful for the level of quality that went into this and still staying budget friendly for those of us who might not have the means to go splurge on top quality cottage vendor gear. If you are new to hammock camping and are finding the costs of getting a whole new setup to be quite financially painful, trust me when I say this is among the best options you'll find if you are trying to go the budget friendly route.
