I'm using the MX-F vortex for mixing small bottles of acrylic paint for scale models. It usually takes around 10 seconds to mix these paints. I use the Vallejo 17ml to 200ml bottles and Tamiya 10ml & 23ml jars. The included the stainless steel mixing balls on useful with large containers or with thick paints.The unit is solid, heavy and sits firmly on the included suction feet. It has a touch start operation and a continuous mixing function.My first MX-F vortex mixer became noisy. Onilab quickly sent me a replacement product. The company has been very helpful and responsive. Recommended.

I didn’t like it when the mixer stopped working after about 15 minutes of continuous use it seemed to over heat. This slowed down my process but fortunately it did un-overheat and I continued on. If it keeps up I will return it.

Whew! This is definitely a machine you need to focus on your hand with. If using for nailpolish like I do, you NEED to purchase nailpolish thinner (NOT remover) and the agitator balls for best results. Just like 5 drops will do. You can't UNDO too much. So the smaller the polish, start with 3 drops.This mixer has a hard plastic top, so don't put your nail polish in the center, put it on the edge and then move it around every 15 seconds. I have hundreds of polishes and these aren't even all of them pictured. If.I don't do this review now, who knows.The images attached show my polishes before and after the vortex/thinner/agitator mix and 30 seconds. The swatches on paper show my gunky nail polish before and after I put NAIL POLISH thinner in it, an agitator and just hand shook it a few times.Yes, some hand shaking is still needed. Team effort class! You, too, Sally! I purchased the 4fl oz Beauty Secrets nail polish thinner. You can get agitator balls here on Amazon and the seller ships them with the other vortex mixer that costs less, the ONiLAB Mini Vortex Mixer with Touch Function. Great customer service! Seller is very responsive. I just did 4 stars because I don't like the hard top vs the soft top the mini Vortex the seller has.

Using this for hobby paint mixing. This is a heavy duty appliance. Very good construction. Maybe one of the best affordable vortex mixers. Paints that I would shake for 2 minutes to mix before are now ready in 30 seconds. I have used battery powered devices for mixing in the past and this blows them away. I think this item will last for years.
