Rated one star because I can't rate lower. Unit defective, support only offered steps already found in manual. Product purchased as Christmas gift, in midwest it has been too cold to set up. Husband sets up in March, unit defective and will not turn on after update that was done during initial set up. Manufacturer stopped responding to emails. Further, the app you need to download is full of bloatware and hard up sells. Cannot express my frustration that Amazon would partner with this corporation. Absolute garbage, do not purchase unless you need a paperweight. Horrid experience all around.

Great quality of pictures/videos, it is so cool when it to tells you which bird species. Hours of joy spent watching + I love the extra camera in the yard. We took it down for winter, couldn't get it hooked by to WiFi, I emailed the seller, they told me how to turn it on, GREAT customer service.

I love this motion-activated bird camera! It’s been such a joy watching all the birds that visit, and the quality of the footage is fantastic. The camera is easy to set up and blends well with my backyard, so the birds aren’t scared away.One really cool feature is that if you get the subscription, the camera can identify the birds for you—which sounds amazing! I don’t have the subscription yet, but even without it, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying watching the variety of birds that stop by. It’s like having my own little nature show right in my yard. I highly recommend this for any bird lover!

I always wanted a bird cam feeder. This one is easy to use. It’s easy to fill the container with seeds and somewhat easy to clean. The birds like it. The camera records good, clear video during the day and in the evening when it switches to night mode. 2 things that bug me with this camera are: 1. It does a decent job identifying birds but it sometimes get the ID wrong. It will also say there’s a person or vehicle in the photo when there isn’t, this camera is in the backyard with no visibly to the street. 2. I’ve had the camera up for about a month, lately the motion sensor will start recording when there’s no movement or birds in the frame which causes my SD card to fill up. Otherwise it’s a good value

I LOVE this feeder. It’s so fun and my husband and I are now bird obsessed. It is really difficult to keep out squirrels, even while offering them other high value stuff away from the feeder. We’ve tried black pepper and red pepper flakes, but may try cayenne. We’ve just become resolved to the fact that 2/3 of the videos are squirrels. We have also heard to switch to safflower and nyjer only because squirrels aren’t interested in it, so we will see. But the video is good quality, the solar charging works and it’s relatively easy to hang (although the Allen wrench could be a lot longer?)**6/23/24 here to update my review. Originally I had the feeder set up on my porch with the solar panel plugged in all the time to keep it charger. However, a couple weeks ago the port broke off the back and it stopped charging (there’s a similar review early on with the same problem, it popped off where it was soldered on). I reached out to the company who informed me there is a secondary charging port that can be used to charge indoors, and that worked well, but you have to bring it back in every so often. However they also replaced the product for me when I provided pictures and my order number. They were lovely to work with and I am so happy still. I will be only plugging the solar panel in as needed now though. Also, hung it a bit higher and gave the squirrels other stuff to keep entertained and that’s been better too. Would still highly recommend this feeder and company.

Bought this bird feeder to put in the backyard and pretty satisfied with the result and considering the price. The product feels high quality and very easy to install. Like literally you need to screw in 6 screws total and you’re ready to go. It took me more time to connect to the camera than the installation itself.Connecting to phone was okay once i realized we have to be connected to a 2.4ghz wifi and not a 5 or 6 ghz otherwise it’ll never find the camera in the app. The app is pretty good, i own Eufy security cavers/doorbell and the software was almost similar to those Eufy apps. Camera activates on motion detection which saves battery. With the solar charger i don’t think we will ever need to charge the camera manually as the whole day it’ll keep charging the camera.Camera quality is good however night vision is horrible, like you cannot see anything but black and white but that’s besides the use case here anyways. Not like there are birds going to come eat the food at night. Daytime quality is very nice. I put in a 128 gb sd card without any problems and now i don’t have to use any cloud based subscriptions.Overall very good product and very reasonable price, considering some of the similar bird feeders are in the ~$150 range.
