One bag had defective stitching. I wanted to love these but they were just such cheap quality that I didn’t see them holding up. The stitching around the fold that holds the strings in place was single stitch and the strings themselves were very thin , the first time sinching it up a whole bunch of strings pulled out. So while they would be cute for gifting someone bread I didn’t see them holding up to regular use.

I make sourdough at home and was hoping for my bread to stay fresh in this cute bag. But within less than a day my bread was already showing signs of it going stale. I don’t recommend for bread.

These bags are well made and are proving to help keep my homemade bread fresher longer. I wrap my loaves with a beeswax wrap and then store in the linen bag. They're also very attractive and not overdone with busy designs - something I really appreciate. I recommend!!
