Not exactly as strong as I thought it would be. Tends to lean to the left or right.Needs side bracing.

Pros: I liked the ease of assembly. Their customer service is top notch. They replaced a damaged screw with a plastic knob with express mail in three days. They were more than accommodating to work with and have made an absolute quality product. It is very sturdy and stable if your kids get a little roudy. The stand is a perfect product for a rope hammock or any spreader bar hammock.Cons. I almost hate to report that this stand ,because the company is so responsive, is not for constant sag hammocks like my Hennessy Ultra Light. As I sit in it, my rear touches the bottom bar because of the three foot sag built into the hammock. I purchased it for my camping hammock so I am not happy with my purchase. I am 73 years old so crawling out of a hammock one foot off the ground is not easy. I more or less have to plan to fall out onto the floor to get out.Overall. This is a quality product that will last many years for fixed spreader bar hammocks and back porch hammocks. I would recommend it for that purpose. The design is very stable. Unfortunately, it is unsuitable for camping hammocks with a lot of fixed sag that cannot be changed.

I like, that the base can be expanded. Unfortunately, the height is only a couple feet off the ground. Those posts need to be at least doubled in length.

It is not horrible but I decided to buy another hammock stand and I am much happier with that one. This one took me forever to put together (and I am usually quite handy) - it is because you need strong hands to screw the sixteen screws. The package came with very basic tools but you need to use them because the screws are not standard sizes. I had bruises on my fingers afterwards.Despite the hard work to get it up, it is not sturdy at all. It is wobbly, especially the two poles that are up and where the hammock hangs on. It is the poles that swing not the hammock :) Which is the second complaint I have. A hammock is only half the fun when it is immobile. I may as well lie on my lounge chair then.Once it is assembled, it is easy to move around. And I did like the idea of having an extension rod, to accommodate different types/seizes of hammocks.

My husband and I were disappointed with the stability of the stand. The company reached out to us, offered a partial credit and actually fully credited us for the product! What terrific customer service! Truly, great company to work with!

It was very easy to put together less then 15, the tools that come with it don’t work very well, our bent. But you can use your own.
