As someone with EDS I know how expensive these splints can get. For a cheaper more available option they are alright. My hands are small and most of these are just too big so I can't really use them like I want.

These are very functional. I really needed these for my daily life and I don't regret ordering them. They are easy to use. Easy to clean up. Easy to wear. I like that it's two different splint functions. Wear combined for that extra protection and padding but I wear the plastic splint separate when I am washing dishes or doing yard work so that I don't have to wet or stain the cushioned ones. Either way if I do make a mess of it I can just put it under the faucet and it cleans right off.I have little fingers and I have no issues with the fit. They come with different sizes so that helps so much. I can save the others for whoever else in my family needs them.My fingers get so much comfort from them that I really think that the price point is well worth it.

Love the splints. Multiple sizes. I can work with them on and take them off quickly and conveniently. Thanks much.

This set of 8 Oval Finger Splints plus the 2 wrap-type splints for under $10 is a really good deal. I chose this particular set because it includes the size 4 oval splint, whis is the size my Occupational Therapist determined I need on my left ring finger. It also fits my right pinky finger. Both fingers cannot straighten on their own, so we have tried these oval splints to looseen up the tightness and hope to be able to strengthen the weakened muscles to be able to straighten them. One thing I have learned is that these are too attractive to my cat. Before buying this set, she had found the first one my therapist had given me and carried it off, never to be found again. So I have to be very careful not to leave them where she can get at them. The oval splint does not cure the finger, and I certainly don't expect that, but it does help loosen the tight tendon so the finger can look more normal some of the time.I have also worn one of the wrap-around-the finger splints for added protection on another finger after surgery. The attached photo collages show both types of splints in use on my affected fingers, as well as the complete set.One thing I suggest doing is to use a large key ring or other large ring with a clasp to keep the set together. The squiggly plastic thing that comes in the package does not work as well as an actual locking ring. In fact, it doesn't work at all to keep the Oval splints together.Despite that one drawback with this set, I am still rating the product 5 stars.

These are basic splints and work well enough. Unfortunately the smallest size in the kit is 4 and it's still too loose for my first knuckle. If you're a bigger person or only need support for your second knuckles, this kit is a great way to figure out what sizes you need.

I'm 70, and while I helped build this world and was an early user of the internet I WORKED for a living. I, unfortunately sprained, strained and (possibly) broke fingers in physical work before a chance would come to see a doctor IF I could get time off. It would have helped if I had access to this little kit. There are eight plastic splints in different sizes that can keep a finger straight from below only. I'm wearing one now to gently straighten a pinky finger from a childhood accident that always annoyed me. The doctor repaired that finger with a pronounced bend to it. This little item gently straightens my finger without stress. It's easy to just twist to remove and easy to put back in place. Included in the kit are two proper splints able to immobilize a broken finger until you can get attention. Those two are closed with slightly elastic equipped with micro hook and loop closures. This is a wonderful item to have in a first aid kit, at work and anywhere you need help before you can get help. You'll be glad you got these and I hope you don't need them.

Was very skeptical about this item as I have been suffering with "trigger finger" for quite some time. Any other "splint/brace" that I tried was either too uncomfortable or cumbersome. This splint fit perfectly where I needed it. I don't get the feeling of being "tied down" and can still use the fingers as needed. I have found if I don't wear it, my fingers are very painful. Wearing it I have much less "snap" as typical with trigger finger. The only reason for 4 stars is that I do have ongoing irritation at the top of the splint due to the materials consistent rub. This item is worth a try. Price is good and works as stated. The color makes it less more conspicuous than other splints. Can be worn as often as needed as it can get wet. I will order more, just wish they could be ordered in a particular size as most of the other pieces in the package will not be used as they do not fit the finger with trouble. If you are in need of something comfortable that works, this is it.
