I have a modest high end system and these tubes in my preamp brought out more of the qualities that I like in the sound. Not quite the same bass as the Mullard tubes I replaced but definitely more midrange and high end clarity. Of the three different sets of tubes I have had in the system these are the best of the group. They were packaged well and I haven't had any issues with them. They are worth trying if you want to make a good system a little better. I think you will like what you hear I sure do

Sound quality is excellentI have it in my integrated amp and it is a rock and roll tube. Nice bass and rhythm. Not lacking in any area.Settled in at about 10 hours.Great little tube.

I'm very pleased I bought this preamp vacuum tube - the two pack was handy to get, because you might need it in the future or for another preamp tube replacement, depending on your needs. I essentially replaced the original tube from my Behringer Tube Monster guitar overdrive/distortion/gain pedal with this one, and it made a significant difference to the sound quality of my pedal, and I am very pleased with it.

Awesomely packaged and fast delivery. Tubes are awesome and work perfectly for my project.Update: been a month and one of the tubes is microphonic. I tapped then lightly and there's a rattle on one of them. While being used it makes tons of noise the other one is silent and sounds great. Thus I knocked off 1 star due to premature failure (~5hrs total use). The one that's working sounds great still and would be again. Hope it's just a fluke.

I used these tubes in my Leslie 122 speaker that goes with my Hammond B3 organ. I originally gave them a good review, but with very little use and no moving around, after about 8 months the Leslie was totally distorted. Replaced them with another brand and it is back to sounding good.

Replaced a 12ax7 tube with the 12au7 to decrease the gain in my amp. Worked good, my amp sounds much better.
