I like this patio umbrella base with the wheels. This makes this very heavy unit very easy to move. That was the issue with my old umbrella base, it was very heavy, and occasionally a person needed to move it to accommodate where the sun was and also where the party was. I use it is n my back patio, and in the backyard. Now moving it is a breeze! It is convenient moves easily and looks nice as well as modern. It seems to be well built, at first, I had a concern about the plastic Castors, but they seem to be very strong and are holding up well and not showing sign of weathering.

This is the absolute best umbrella stand I've ever owned. Nice and heavy and holds the umbrella dead still. We've had some wind the last few days and the umbrella hasn't moved an inch since I put it in this. Holds well and it's nice and heavy. No worries at all about it blowing over or falling out.

This umbrella stand looks good and feels well-made. Assembling it consists of attaching the vertical pole and the two wheels; thus, it was fast and easy. The two wheels are made mostly of some type of plastic, so their durability is questionable. For now, the wheels help moving this stand around much easily. It comes with three adapters to accommodate umbrella poles with 1.375-inch, 1.5-inch, and 1.88-inch diameter.It is made of powder-coated steel filled with cement. Steel is rust-resistant, and powder-coating and curing it produce a high-quality finish that makes it even more rust resistant. It weighs 40 lbs., which would not be heavy for me two years ago, but now, with frequent bouts of back and knee pain, it feels too heavy. This umbrella stand should do well by itself with any umbrella with a diameter less than 6 feet. If it is used with an umbrella with its pole going through the tabletop of a garden table, then it will be even more stable. We have many umbrella stands in our yards, and for umbrella stand used by itself, we usually weigh them down with some of the hundreds of large rocks we picked up at the beach over the years.This 40-pound patio umbrella is a bit pricey, but it is why it has free delivery, which for sure cost a lot. Only time can tell how reliable, durable, and rust-resistant this stand is. For now, this stand performs greatly, and I recommend it.

Was a good match for the faux wood finish on our other furniture. Not sure if I would get the wheels again. They seem like they will eventually fail. Stand is heavy duty and stable. Small so it fits in tight spaces which was good for out use
