This base is heavy duty and simple to install. The side screw allows for tightening your pole into the shaft. It looks nice and is just what I needed for my patio table umbrella.

We have a 10' umbrella and this base is a little too small for it. It is heavy and can hold an umbrella but something on the smaller end. With the 10' umbrella, it gets a little wobbly in this base by itself. We have to put additional sandbags on top to keep it sturdy.

Perfect and 30 pounds holds it without my bricks...15 pound unbrellas get this one. Weight 30 or up use a dolly to roll it yo your yard the Drivers dont have them on their trucks ...All Amazon drivers need DOLLYS 30 pounds is HEAVY and they try to get them to the doors HEAVY ITEMS TELL ALEXA TO THANK YOUR DRIVER.

The description does not clarify that you will only receive one weight plate and nothing else (and you need 4 weight plates and the cross bar for a complete base)The weight looks OK (5 stars for it) but 1 star for the product description and high price for just one plate. Hence the 3 stars rating average,

For the price, we were concerned about quality and weight, as it was relatively cheap. Unlike some other reviewers' experiences, I did receive the one I ordered (the one that's not solid). We struggled to get the pole into the base without any wiggling happening, but there was still some looseness. We're hoping it won't loosen up with use. It seems durable and weather resistant, but we're worried about rust.

We received an 18" umbrella base... but what we were expecting to receive is the 4 triangle pieces to attach to a + shaped base, as pictured in the listing. Won't work with our umbrella. :(

Gets the job done and looks nice doing it. This thing is heavy. No umbrellas are going anywhere attached to this base. The base has a nice decorative design. It was easy to install the pole in. It looks great and works!
