Worked well but for the echo models the throttle cable was too big had to grind alittle of the carb block to make it work

Installed easily, and great value for the money. I did had to make some adjustments to get it running properly. But once you find the sweet spot it runs good. Also had to adjust the throttle. Try that before making adjustments to the carb it self.

Carb looks just like the one for my blower, except the the throttle cable connection is for a push cable. Mind was a pull. Had to swith the connector to the back. Need a lot of adjustments to get it to stay running. Still not quite right but durable.

My Echo PB-403T is old and very well used. Has been running rough for years and was now leaking fuel. After considering purchasing a new blower found this Kit on line. Watched a video on YouTube. Very easy to change out the parts. After priming the new Carb blower runs smooth like new. No adjustments to Carb needed.

Out of the box the first thing I noticed was the throttle barrel was small compared to my original. The original was 11mm, the new one is around 9mm. It might have worked but I didn't want to try it on such a crucial part.

This is a bolt and go set up. Carb probably didn’t need a tune if you don’t want to but, I did fine tune the low/high end and it runs perfectly. The only item I would add to this kit would be the fuel line for inside the tank bc the old fuel line cracked taking the filter out. I just used the included fuel line to replace the inside line instead of the one outside the tank. If needed it’s a lot easier to replace the outside line and fortunately mine was in acceptable condition to reinstall it.

I bought this knowing the issues people had and the adjustments people made with the Dremel. After making room for the levers with a 20 second dremel job as described elsewhere, everything fit and worked perfectly. in fact the carb adjustments now with the flat head adjusters instead of the D make it super easy to adjust richness. even the filter, the air and fuel lines, gaskets and spark plug all fit and worked great. I wasnt expecting that. What a deal. There were mentions of people losing power after changing it out…. I’m not sure if they made adjustments to the carb because mine initially was a little bit weaker but a couple turns on the high end screw fixed that, and it idles perfect after adjustment as well. Echo PB 580T backpack blower with quite a few hours on it, i’m guessing I’ll get quite a few more after the tuneup. The fix is easy too I didn’t even look it up I just ground down the plastic where the lever was obviously hitting it…boom done.
