In our opinion these are not $400.00 show quality polished intakes. Flaws in the polish such as scuffs and marks will require more polishing to enhance the finish.
This is a new polished aluminum dual plane intake for small block Chevy. 180° high rise design, big power over a wide RPM range. Has the open air area under the carb pad to help keep fuel mixture cool and improve power. Ideal for everyday to high performance street applications, will produce power in the lower RPM range and not kill your bottom end like a single plane would.
These intakes are produced from steel molds to reduce core shift, have all the major features found on the expensive ones such as 4 corner water outlets and nitrous bosses, and the best part - the price!
Intake works with 283-400 small blocks up to 1995. Includes special adapter bushings for the middle holes on the '87 to '95 heads. Does not fit the newer Vortec heads. For use with square bore style carbs. Provides standard bosses and tapped holes for street accessories such as A/C and alternator brackets. No provision for manual choke or exhaust crossover and are not EGR equipped.

It looks great, but plan on port matching this, and there are some pretty high ridges on all of the runners that also need grinding out as well, It looks like there casting didn't match up very well? But there is plenty of material to grind away, up to 5/16 on 4 of the runners, up to a 1/4 inch on some and none on others, So get some good reamers and a electric drill with a trigger lock and have fun!

When I blew a head I decided to go with aluminum heads, so upgraded intake to a 4bbl, and a 1409 marine carburetor. Also went with marine hei distributor. Great results in take off and getting up on step. Installed on a GM 5.0(305) in a 30ft boat (one of twins. Cannot wait to get the other side done.

Upon receiving this item I noticed it was very warped and not level. It is cut poorly, the port holes are very uneven and not cut good, there are huge gaps when trying to set it in place so it will not fit level from where the dips in it are. It was very poorly cut and manufactured. It had a very strong odor of rotten eggs and vinegar. They told me to request a return via Amazon, however Amazon would not allow me to return due to part of the issue being the odor, they couldn’t explain what caused the odor therefore they told me it wasn’t safe to return per company policy, okay, I understand this because I couldn’t understand the odor either. I contacted the manufacturer again and they refuse to resolve the issue or refund it, they tell me I should’ve returned it but I COULDNT because Amazon wouldn’t allow or generate a label for me, and I’m not going to pay for shipping on an item I received that was crap. The company doesn’t take responsibility in their items that are poorly made, and they won’t even explain the odor to me as to why that Is an issue, it’s horrible. Very cheaply made, the risk of buying isn’t worth it because mine came super messed up. Work with a company who stands by their quality and can admit and resolve when the quality is crap.

It looks great. I originally ordered the Edelbrock air gap but its been on backorder since MAY😯 and they keep extending the shipping date. So i cancelled my order and ordered this one. It came in three days. And i must say for the price it looks really good. There are some small imperfections up close but WHO is looking at another mans intake that close anyway.I will review this manifold again once i bolt it to my new SBC 357💪🏿

I do not like that I have to put inserts into the mounting holes it's kinda sketchy.... I'm gonna try it because most the reviews says it fit like it should butI think I will add another review once I install the intake. I think there will be a leak at some point. Also if you have never match ported intake to heads before this is a low budget product to try it on

Polished looked good on intake. All runners and ports look good. To be honest not a bad buy. Dont think your getting anything better with a eldelbrock intake besides paying for the name. And i had have them all and this one is no better or worse. And the plus is its polished at a cheaper price
