It's a great little kayak.A couple downsides: our son is 44 lbs, and he seems to not track well if it's windy. The flag pole gets tangled in tree branches easily, and the flag itself falls off.

My third grade 8 year old had kayaking down in 5 minutes.Super stable.Our neighbors, third grader, came over as well and enjoyed it.And it was super light to carry to the dock.

My 4 year old son absolutely loves this kayak, SUPER stable and easy for him to maneuver, even in rough water. Paddle is foam filled so it floats too!

This works great for our 8 year old (about 53" and 55lbs) and gives him room to grow into it. He can move and maneuver well, much easier at this age than a high side kayak. It fits into our SUV so easy to get to the lake. The back is a must and keeps him very comfortable and supported. Highly Recommend!

My son has not used this yet, looks like a good kayak but seat was missing. Created a claim to get that piece. Will update the review once I have more info/hit the water.

I bought this set because it comes with paddle and seat. My three kids all enjoy riding in it. The two younger ones can ride it together in the swimming area at the lake. The flag is pretty useless as it's hard to mount and much easier to see a large yellow kayak at a distance than a small flag. The paddle sinks but a cut-up pool noodle pushed onto the shaft provides buoyancy.
