I had to purchase this product twice since the first one seemed to have some inconsistencies than what is pictured. The ball rod on my first order had threads all the way down the rod, which is different from the product pictures and ultimately the treads was causing the ball to move around a lot and caused leaks. The ball rod nut also had a crack in it, which I think was causing leaks as well.I purchased the product again just two weeks later and found the second one looked just like the listing images and fit much better and had no cracks. All seems to be well on the second go around and no leaks thus far.

Just make sure to use a very thick layer of the supplied plumbers tape. I'd recommend figuring out the correct position for the ball before doing so, so you can focus the tape on a position.

This product looks good but there's no instructions how to use so I installed some of the parts but it seems to leak when there's too much water in the sink

Terrible kit. First the retaining clip immediately deformed. Luckily I have one that's 20 years old that works fine. Next the retaining nut doesn't screw all the way down. There are three choices and the only one that fit my Moen setup (the Moen nut) doesn't screw far enough down to create good fit with the ball. The instructions say to use Teflon tape on the thread to hold the ball in place and eliminate leaks but it does not stay confidently.Overall this is a really poor kit.

I'm relatively new to home repairs, and am so pleased with how easy it was to fix my drain stopper with this kit! The written directions were simple and clear, especially with the labeled diagram, but the video made me feel extra confident I knew what I was doing. I noticed in the video I should have had a washer in the drain body before the pivot ball from the previous set, but there wasn't one in there. I tried to use one of the included ones, but the one I tried was a little big and caused water to leak out. So I took that washer out and put the pivot ball right in without one, and it works great with no leaks. Awesome when there's a quick, affordable fix, and this is one of them!!

Worked on our pop up drain assembly. I only needed the pop up rod and rod ball, the rest of my original parts were fine. They give you 3 different size balls for various manufacturers so you can just size it up from the old one. If you do need the entire assembly it's in the kit. Hardest part is trying to see wtf you're doing inside of the cabinet.

I'm not a plumber at all but this included all the parts and instructions I needed to fix my drain plug, I didn't even need to look up a YouTube tutorial.If I had to be picky I'd say the clevis clamp was a bit short and sharp on the edges so fitting that on was a bit uncomfortable for my fingers, but overall great kit.

I had to replace my pop-up drain plug after the rod rusted and broke after decades of use. After a quick YouTube video and review of this product, it arrived, and it was an easy 15 minute repair. After adding a new pop-up stopper, it works like it was a brand new sink.

I had to go to the hardware store and get another repair kit as well because only half of the components from this kit worked and only half from the other kit worked. I was glad that this kit included teflon tape, it was just enough that I didn't have to buy that too. Anyway the job is done and even at the price of two kits it's still much much cheaper than calling a plumber.
