I inherited my late grandfather's SLB 260 and the needle it had was basically non-existent. This replacement works perfectly, and now I can venture into listening to all the records I've gotten. I'm really happy with this needle, solid sound and price point. I'm not an audiophile so I can't tell if it's "great" or just "good" but for me, it's perfect.
