I love these pens. I am an attorney and sometimes I will have to write orders on the fly in court or have things signed. These pens are write smoothly and are so thin that they dont look slopy on official documents. Love them!

Hands down my favorite pens of all time. I was given one of these pens almost ten years ago by a colleague and the rest is history. I instantly fell in love with the feel of it in my hand but mostly the super fine 0.38 point and fluid, smooth ink. It's strange to feel like a pen snob, but I've tried and used many other highly recommended pens but these classic Pilot G2's are the best, and they're affordable. Win-win!

I wish I could buy these in store but I’ve never been able to find them, even during back to school time. For me, I love the ultra fine point of a mechanical pencil but the deep color of a pen. These pens never skip on me and are super easy for me to write with without hurting my hand. The ink seems to dry fast too because I somehow never have smears. On occasion, I will get a pen that has a damaged tip and it will scratch but not write.

I have purchased box after box of these. Use them for every thing from journal work to filling out price tags for jewelry. If you need a small font, these pens are it! The best part is that they make my penmanship (I still write in long hand) as lovely as possible. ❤️

I really like these pens. They don't bleed and make really thick lines. I write small so this makes it much easier to read my already difficult handwriting. They also have about a 90% survivability chance when going through the wash.

These pens are my absolute fave! So it was definitely a sad day when my other .38 pens died. I HAD to get more! These pens write fabulously. I am always so impressed with their longevity because I use them for basically EVERY writing, note-taking, doodling, sketching, inking, etc thing I have to do daily. On a quick side note... for those of you (with little to no common sense) who rate the pens badly because of the "red ball at the end" and how horribly they write with it, first of all, that is a wax ball to keep the ink from splattering during transport/shipment and secondly, YOU TAKE IT OFF before writing with it!!I love these pens and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality writing tools :DHave a great day!

I’ve been using this product for years, perfect for professional settings or everyday use.The writing experience is where this pen truly shines. The ink flows smoothly and evenly, creating crisp lines with every stroke. Whether I'm jotting down quick notes or writing lengthy paragraphs, this pen delivers consistent performance without any skips or smudges.Another standout feature is its durability. The tip remains firm and precise. It feels sturdy in my hand, yet surprisingly lightweight, making it comfortable to use for extended periods.Overall, I couldn't be happier with this ballpoint pen. It combines reliability, and comfort, making it a must-have for anyone who values quality writing instruments.

So I've been trying different calibers of pen tips realizing that I prefer thinner ones and been coming down from 2, to .7, to .5, so I got to .38 and decided to further try .25 but didn't find those good enough for regular writing, so I figure .38 is about optimal for the type of writing I do on a daily basis. The fine tip lets me write a little smaller than other pens which lets me write with my natural handwriting freely and looks great. I suppose that its because it writes pretty equivalent to a .5 mechanical pencil which is what I had used most of my life before. Unfortunately they can't be found in local stores which is why I have to order them. When I use them people comment that I can write so small that I could "write on a grain of rice" or that my notes look like a photocopy. The ink is not super fast drying, it does smear a tad if you run your hand over it accidentally a second or two after writing, but I don't consider that a huge deal. Zero smear is ideal but I do expect ink to behave this way to some extent. However, I have one much bigger concern about them... they don't usually last long enough to use up all the ink. The tip will get damaged somehow and a tiny wire-like thing will just barely peek out of it which makes the pen unusable from then on. I'd say probably half of the pens Ive used or more have this happen to them, and Ive used about 2 dozen so far... Sometimes by the time the ink is mostly used up, but sometimes about halfway through or less. I couldn't really say if its something about the way I use them (like if I have a heavier hand than they are designed for or what). In fact, the only other person that I know who uses these pens brought up the same complaint, before I said anything about it.I do plan to keep using this caliber but I'll see if I can try a different brand maybe. If not Ill have to put up with this defect, because its otherwise a really good pen. That's the only reason I give them 3/4 stars*.============================================* If the lowest rating is 1/5 stars then that actually equals 0/4. Its a 4 star system.
