Feels like I got a lot in this kit for the cost. I've run across a few now that were over $10us & didnt have half the pieces. I found a lot of, especially disposable bags, were more difficult to use. The way they've got the nozzle set up is really nice. You can change your tips as needed without a new bag. Only two bags come with this set, but they are reusable whether you want to clean them or not... I did get the plastic piece that holds the tips to work in another bag.Admittedly I dont do a lot of cake design & often end up with thicker icing than I wanted or some other mistake. I was able to make a border on a 9x11 with little effort. Couldnt write words, but I think that's on me. I think anyone with a bit of skill will do much better :)

I'm not a pro (by any stretch)- so I don't know all about specialty tips, but this seemed like a great variety to get started. The piping bags are heavy duty and can be washed and reused. The threads on the tip screws work well and presented no issues. They're easy to switch out while your bag is still full. Yay! I love the extra little tools for scraping cakes that came with it. I wasn't looking for those, but it's a great bonus that totally adds to my legitimacy when it comes to making semi professional looking cakes.
