How to use:

I was going to use these hoops for stitching on flour sack towels, but they are so thin the base ring bends when you attach your material and the outer ring. The screw on the outer ring has ridges that bite into your fingers when you tighten it to hold your material taunt. I do not recommend these hoops, they are horrible.Update: Pllieay customer service immediately reached out to me after posting this review. They offered either a replacement or 50% refund. I accepted the 50% refund and it was immediately posted to my payment method. This is excellent customer service, thus increasing my rating to 3 stars.! I would order from this company again for different items.

I used these to hand embroider a veil to match one I’d seen in a store. They worked for my purposes, though sometimes the wood would splinter off so beware of that.

Complaining buyers have not used these hoops correctly, all hoops, whatever manufacturer or quality of wood can be rough and/or lose. My Granny always bound both rings with cotton tape or strips, secured with a few stitches . The fabric can be tacked into place on the inner ring, before fitting the outer, resulting in more secure, taut, protected work than any bare hoop of any quality can provide. A carefully wrapped hoop will not need re wrapping for ages, well worth the effort .
