When it arrived the part holding the cup for the coffee did not fit. The manufacturing process had not been completed. It had not been correctly fitted to the machine.. So, there was no way to make coffee. I had to use my Dremel took to grind down the parts so that it fit. Even then, the fit is extremely tight such that it is very difficult to insert the part that holds the coffee cup into the machine. I had another machine previously from a different manufacturer that had much better construction and was so much easier to use. I would not recommend this unit.

Update: Don’t buy. Just outside of the return window and have had issues with it pretty consistently. It’s finicky. Have to go through the espresso cycle twice to get enough espresso. Wasting coffee like groceries are cheap.I swear I read reviews on this before I purchased, but now that I see that there are none. I am definitely mistaken. Thought the machine was a great price and it’s smaller, so it doesn’t take up a lot of space on the counter. So far it has worked exactly as we have been needing it to (to make some awesome espresso martini’s). Used the steam function yesterday and had zero issues. Great price, easy to use, takes up minimal space, hoping this lasts for a while.

Looks pretty, the item leaks from the portafilter holder, steam knob and steam pipe. The steam pipe itself it loose and does not stay in place causing more leakages. Coaster and water tray are made of plastic. Over time I could see that being an issue. I returned the item after the first use due to all the leaking.

For espresso machine, it's important to froth milk. It just didn't do ti. It was a waste of my money.

The machine works, looks nice and fits perfectly, however, when it comes to coffee I feel is more waterly compared to other expresso in the same range I have tried for the same price range

Did. It come with an instruction manual so trying to learn the ins and outs of this machine purely with trial and error is a lot more difficult than one would expect. I worked as a barista years ago so know how to make espresso drinks. It this machine will not pull espresso shots like it should. And it won’t froth milk. It doesn’t t matter what I do, how I have the knob turned, the water just comes out making the milk watery.Bits super difficult to get the filter (I can’t remember the technical name) part does not lock on to the machine very easily or well. The water tank does leak so the build quality is awful. If you have money to waste, then this might be a good value for you. But there are so many machines with better prices and that are built better that would be a much better value.Since the doesn’t pull the shots well, the coffee tastes awful and the milk is completely watered down making it taste gross. I mean if you like to throw money away or buy and return often, then this might be a good machine for you.

It's kind of hard to use for the first couple of times then it gets easier. Makes real good mochas.
