Saved me hundreds of dollars.Had a cracked mirror housing with a piece missing on my driver's side Lexus RX350.To replace the mirror would have been about $500. To get just the frame/housing would have been about $70 and a month of waiting.I received this the day after I ordered it and fixed it in about 10 minutes. It took a few rounds of polishing to make it smooth but definitely worth it. I took the car in to get wrapped and the guys were impressed with the strength of the material and the quality of the repair. The manager said he was ordering some and offering or as an option to fix small things like this for half of what they can replace a part and 10x or more the profit margin. The attached photo is the after. Failed to get the before photo. The pointed part in the middle was broken off and the whole piece missing was about 2 inches long and a half inch wide at the wide at point and tapering down to 1/16 of an inch to a crack with no missing material.

Used this last fall to seal a temporary leak around my pool stairs. It mixed quickly and easily, was simple to shape and press into spot and cured relatively quickly. While it was not advertised I did apply it under water and it took longer to cure but it did work as a temporary seal till end of season when I drained the pool.Unfortunately, even though I wrapped the leftovers tightly and sealed them in a ziplock freezer baggy the putty lumps still dried out enough I can't use them in about half a year stored in my heated basement. I no way is this the products fault but it should be noted there is a shelf life even if not premixed like other products. Only purchase this when your ready to use it and check the manufactured date for best results.Otherwise it's an amazing product for a great price, the amount of time I saved instead of draining, cost of refilling and chemicals and silicone for the leak speaks for itself, IMO. It's worth it.

I recently used the 16oz Epoxy Pool Putty for a few repair projects around the house, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its versatility and strength. This two-part epoxy putty is ideal for fixing leaks, cracks, and even sculpting small repairs in both underwater and above-ground settings. I used it to seal a small crack in my pool's tile, and it worked flawlessly. What stood out to me was how well it adhered, even underwater. The putty didn't flake or lose its shape, and it provided a solid, watertight seal once cured. In addition to pool repairs, I also used the epoxy on some cracked concrete steps and a metal railing, and it performed just as well. The putty is easy to mix and mold, and the grey color blends nicely with most surfaces, so it’s not too noticeable once dried. It sets relatively quickly, so you have enough working time to shape and apply it, but it still cures fast enough to get on with your project without long delays. I found it particularly useful for filling small gaps and smoothing over damaged areas in ceramic and tile, where it provided a long-lasting fix. This epoxy putty is a great tool for DIY repairs, offering a simple, no-fuss solution for a range of surfaces including metal, tile, ceramics, and concrete. The 16oz size gives you plenty of material for multiple projects, making it a cost-effective option. Whether you're dealing with minor leaks or cracks or need to fill and repair sculpted areas, this epoxy putty gets the job done effectively and efficiently. Highly recommended for both indoor and outdoor repairs!

Thoughts on YumCraft’s epoxy pool putty:-I normally prefer pre-rolled epoxy sticks because they’re so convenient, but I’m warming up to kits like this because the separate components can’t react with one another and don’t seem to dry out as quickly-Easy 1:1 mixing ratio-Fairly easy to work with, but included plastic gloves are a poor choice; the loose folds make kneading the putty difficult, so form-fitting latex or nitrile would be a better choice-Soft and sticky once kneaded; can be a bit soft for some jobs, but adheres very well to surfaces-A decent amount of putty for the price-No unpleasant sulfur smell like some products I’ve used-Included tool is helpful, but the putty is quite firm and can be difficult to cut-Measuring out equal amounts isn’t as easy as it sounds-I didn’t test this underwater, so I can’t say how well it performs in wet environmentsAt $13.88 this is decently priced, but you can find better deals. I recently tested a 16 oz kit from DecorRom that was selling for $20.99, so it might not be a bad idea to shop around a little before buying. My rating: 4 stars

I have used various versions of this type of putty before, never underwater though so cannot comment on that. Honda lawn mowers have a resin type bed that aver time will crack. This is the second Honda mower I have had that problem with. This type of repair putty along with fiberglass netting will fix this problem. Just be sure to make sure the surface is prepared by roughing it up so the putty adheres better, I suggest that you also use some on the inside (after cleaning of course). So many ways to use this versatile product.

YumCraft Epoxy Putty comes shipped in a 8oz pack. Many uses already come to mind since this epoxy putty can handle other repair jobs. Did a repair under the sink and so far held up nicely. Actually it hardens to a pretty tough texture. I do not have any underwater projects at this time but if I do come across any, I will update my review. No odors to contend with. Includes a tool for easy applications. You don't get much, only 8oz, but at the current price of $7.99, that's reasonable. Would recommend as a standby fixer.

I used this product to patch the flooring planks in my shop that had become damaged through dropped tools and such. You get two packs of material that must be mixed before they will set to hardness. Each pack was already quite stiff and mixing them was very difficult. I did get them blended fairly well and the mixture was easy to apply. It hardened overnight and was easy to shape. Whether it holds up to wear is yet to be seen.

I got the white version of this, which comes with one part white, and the other part light yellow. That made it a bit difficult to see when it was fully mixed, but it's manageable. The texture was like taffy or starburst candy, but once you start mixing it, it starts to soften up from the heat of your hands. The putty is pretty sticky, but easily peels off the supplied gloves, or any type of smooth plastics.I used this to restore the worn down plastic on my Oral-b electric toothbrush base, and it worked out pretty well. After it dried, it was rock hard, and fixed all the wiggle in the toothbrush head from having the plastic interface worn.I mixed more putty than I needed, so I used the remainder to test gluing 2 plastic bottlecaps together, and that didn't work at all. The cured putty, which was completely hardened, came right off the caps. I think this was just probably due to me not properly preparing the surfaces, but yeah, smooth, flat plastic surfaces are a no-go.Anyhow, decent product. My only gripe is that it doesn't come in any type of container to help keep it from drying out. I have a feeling the next time I want to use this, it's gonna just be two pieces of dried, unusable putty bricks, but we shall see.

I used this to fix a piece of messed up PVC pipe for my hot tub. I didn’t apply it underwater so I can’t comment on that aspect of it. But I was very happy with how nicely it adhered to the PVC pipe and hardened. I’ve used some JB Weld epoxy putty before and this seems to work at least as well. The downside is that you’ll probably need a scale to get the 50:50 mix ratio down, because it’s hard to eyeball, vs the JB Weld “sticks” where you just cut off a chunk. But as far as functionality, it cures nice and hard, and for any application that’s not going to be under pressure this will probably fit the bill nicely, and at an affordable price. I did two major repairs and still had more than half of it left. I’m sure I can find other uses for the rest of it around the house.
