I used the 'American' items but was puzzled by the metal chopsticks. The utensils are fine for occasional use as camping, etc.The case could use a more secure closure as it tends to pop off.

Hello All,The ALEYBO 4 Piece Stainless Steel cutlery travel and camping set comes rather in a non-branded plain metal flatware appearance. The two stainless steel chopsticks also feel hollow when you're holding them instead of solid steel. The stainless steel knife has a partially serrated portion in its uppermost segment only. The transparent plastic sheath is a novel approach to storing this cutlery set of 4 pieces albeit the chopsticks make it actually 5 pieces. I chose the Black lid cover that simply shifts to one side or the other when opening up the sheath container. The weighted balance of each of the 4 pieces of the cutlery set comes very light in holding. I would've preferred something somewhat greater in weight by the grams or ounces. But, that's just me being picky.I would've preferred seeing the utensils being branded with a stamped ALEYBO logo or whatnot. Their current generic appearance in stainless steel is rather uninspiring in my opinion aesthetically speaking. At the current time of this written review, the retail price has organically dropped by 21% already on its own. Aside from that the merchant has offered a $3 Online Coupon that can be claimed via the clickbox selection prior to your checkout of your online cart.

The utensils are all cheap stamped stainless, and flatter than most flatware. Even the spoon is very shallow. But that's part of why they all fit together in the carrier. The cap started out a bit stiff, but loosened up after a few uses. It can be left captive on the carrier, or it can readily be pulled off for easy cleaning. The carrier looks to be strong enough to keep the flatware from being bent by other things in my pack, and will protect things in my pack from being poked or torn by the flatware--though I think if allowed to float free in my pack the cap would come off from general jostling. It can be opened and closed with one hand, provided you have the right side out. One side has a lip that protects the cap from being opened, and the other is shaped to be opened with a little upward pressure from your thumb. It can fit in a pocket or a large enough belt sheath, but isn't something that can clip on to a belt by itself.Very utilitarian and simple. Suitable for camping or packing in a lunchbox.

I keep this portable cutlery set in my SUV for overnight travel, and it’s a practical addition to my gear. I often pick up to-go meals on the road, and this set works much better than the plastic utensils that usually come with those meals. The set includes a knife, fork, spoon, and chopsticks, all made of 18/8 stainless steel, and it comes in a compact blue carrying case that keeps everything organized. The stainless steel is sturdy without being overly heavy. The fork and spoon are a comfortable size and easy to use, unlike some smaller travel sets. The knife isn’t serrated but cuts through basic foods like chicken or vegetables without much effort. The chopsticks are useful for meals like noodles or sushi and are well-balanced for handling. The blue case is lightweight and slim, so it fits neatly in my glove box or a side pocket in my SUV. The case keeps the utensils separated, preventing them from clattering or scratching. Cleanup is straightforward—rinse and dry. The stainless steel doesn’t stain and doesn’t retain food smells.I’ve used this set for road trips, picnics, and even some campsite meals, and it’s held up well over time. If I could improve one thing, it would be the sharpness of the knife, which is fine for soft foods but struggles with tougher items.

This is a pretty nice utensil set. I was looking for something to be able to take with me when I want to eat at a fast-casual restaurant. I don't necessarily camp, so these are for urban adventures to me. I haven't tried the chopsticks, because I am not very good at using them. But it is nice that they are in the set. Maybe one day I can travel to Asia and pack these utensils! The size of the fork, knife and spoon are fine for me. I'm a smaller person so I don't need long utensils. The spoon is a bit shallow, but if I want to eat soup, I'll use something else. I don't eat soup a lot anyway. I like that this is all packed into a plastic case for easy cleaning.

Function 5/5I work at a hospital and eat at the cafeteria multiple times per week. I am also fortunate to be offered many free meals by my department. I don't like using plastic cutlery once and throwing away. Really happy with this cutlery set. It includes a fork, knife, spoon and chopsticks in stainless steel so they stay clean. Many other sets don't include knife and/or spoon and/or chopsticks so watch out for that if you're comparing items. The case has a unique design. The top slides off and pivots away but is retained by a positive stop at the end. It's quiet and simple. It is easy to fully remove for cleaning but won't come off accidentally. The case also comes apart lengthwise which makes cleaning easy. There are plastic dividers that keep the cutlery in place inside the case. They don't shake around or make noise in my bag or pocket. The knife has a "tooth" which helps with cutting, which is hard to see in the pictures. My only "complaint" is that the cutlery is surprisingly heavy although this is a marker of quality and they feel durable.Quality 5/5Great design and materials. Far above average. The finish on the silverware is excellent. It's smooth and perfectly flat and symmetrical. Feels a lot more expensive than it is.Appearance 5/5I like the colors and the "frosted" finish. The shape is a little unusual but I can appreciate that it is as trim as possible.
