I bought these for the rec program, they are great quality and light weight. When I unrolled them they laid fairly flat immediately and totally flat about 24 hours after unrolling. The rubber is good quality and is very slide resistant/ doesn’t slide. This is definitely comparable to the heavier duty options on the market

Recently bought another mat popularly listed on Amazon…guess what they it slid because they weren’t heavy enough to stay put. When I saw this one weighed 30lbs-I knew this would work. It stays put for use outside on grass, so would def work well inside. Worth paying a few more $ for this one

I'm a fastpitch pitching coach, former pro pitcher. This mat is legit! The rubber is strong. The material is very durable. It's got weight to it. It does slightly frey on the outside edges but not a big deal doesn't effect the performance. I'm impressed with this mat. I've worked with hundreds of girls on it. Even a few in metal cleats when they accidentally didn't have other shoes. It has marks on the rubber sure but it's in VERY GOOD condition for 2.5 years of use. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I have never written a review but I was so disappointed with this I had to. My daughter is 9 and I bought her this after her first session with a pitching coach ( who luckily is a friend and is not charging ). I rarely see a 90% 5 star rating so I paid the HEFTY price for this item thinking it would last. One twenty minute session later and the pitching rubber was very chewed up. She has to wear her cleats when using it or she wont have the same feel come game time. She weighs 86 lbs. so I don't feel she should be able to exact anywhere near the damage to the rubber that it is displaying. It wont last the season for sure. The actual turf mat? Only time will tell, but if the rubber is any hint to the mat's longevity....... I just cannot believe that anyone would truthfully give this product a 5 star rating!!! I should have just made my own but I thought I would splurge and buy my daughter something nice. I even thought that we would take it to practice with us and let the other young pitchers try it, but for the price I definitely can't do that. Too much of a hassle to return so I will just make my own rubber in a couple of weeks when this one is destroyed.

This is a great instructional tool for beginners and more experienced alike. Works well for visualizing foot placement and to push off the attached pitching rubber.I'd highly recommend this for practicing at home.

We purchased this mat to use at home so my daughter could practice pitching in the back yard. Item got to us quick (a few days earlier than the anticipated delivery date) and packaged well. The mat is full sized (it's plenty long enough for a long stride) and seems very well put together. Mound the mound is attached very well - if there was a place for this mat to fail I'm sure it's the mound but doesn't seem like it is coming lose any time soon. The mat is plenty thick, sturdy, doesn't slide and, for us, is worth the investment to get the good practice time at home.
