I have had this product for a few months now and I’ve been able to get good recordings with it. Good clean recordings. I haven’t figured out all the ins and outs of it yet but I have enjoyed using it here in my recording studio and in my classrooms. Set up wasn’t too bad. if you are used to this type of things then it would be quite easy for you. If you are a novice there is a little bit of a learning curve but it is not difficult.Very much worth the money!

Very easy to use, recognized by all the DAWs I have on my Mac. But some of them don't see the minimal buffer size possible, in contrast with StudioOne. However, it sounds good everywhere.The only drawback is that it is impossible to turn Line mode separately for inputs 1 & 2. You can plug and record either 2 line inputs (like electric guitar, keyboard) or 2 mic inputs. So you cannot play and sing at the same time for recording/performance unless you have a separate external preamp for one of the channels.But this is not my case so far. For the ones who would like to have separate control over line/mic preamps, consider something else like more major model of PreSonus or whatever else interface.

La scheda audio funziona perfettamente anche dopo più di un anno. Buona la qualità dei preamp e dei potenziometri, facile la configurazione tramite app proprietaria, molto utile la funzione loopback per chi si occupa di creazione di contenuti. Lo chassis è completamente in metallo, molto resistente ed esteticamente piacevole. Non particolarmente alto il volume in cuffia per impedenze superiori ai 32ohms. Buona la dotazione software in bundle. Un ottimo prodotto a un prezzo "giusto".

Great unit I own 2 other units from other manufacturers and both have noise problems this unit has no issues and has not overloaded or created noise. A very fair price for what I got including all the included software. If I ever need another unit PreSonus will be at the top of the list.

I purchased this as an upgrade from my presonus audiobox 96 usb and there is a noticeable difference in sound quality. The audio interface has a solid build quality and easy to use. I also like the LEDs to indicate the volume level. I am satisfied with my purchase and worth the upgrade.

Purchased this item as an audio interface so that I could better use Notion6 and StudioOne Pro. Presonus had me download and install Universal Control, their software to manage power and connection for this 26C. IT DOES NOT WORK. What their software DID do is disrupt my scanner, my external backup drive, and cause all sorts of strange articulation issues in Notion6. I opened an issue with Presonus sixteen days ago. They responded that they wanted my system information. I sent them a file with that info and that's the last I heard from them. Steer clear of this nonsense. Frankly, I'm at a loss as to what to do now. To regain control of other PC functions, I had to uninstall Universal Control, thus, the 26C does nothing now but sit there gathering dust. I also purchased a couple of Eris E5 XT speakers that are gathering dust because there is nothing to drive sound to them. This is unconscionable.Now, IF Presonus solves the issue, I am open to revising this review. Until then, truth outs.

( Audio pro ) . Plug and play . I have the outputs routed to my mixer , it works straight out of the box , no driver downloads required . It's very low noise , nothing coming across the Mackie 824s . My Ipad 12.9 in. is in sync with my PC recording software . Apple threw the audio people a curve by doing away with Thunderbolt on 3 , losing the headphone jack , but this is a great solution in a sparse field of peripherals so far . Great build , very solid metal box . I own several interfaces from Roland , Tascam and in comparison , this is a steal for the $$ .The only thing I would wish for is an on/off button .

I am a Studio owner with tons of gear and do extensive testing and recording with said gear. I own several pieces of PreSonus gear all the way to the flagship StudioLive 64S Series III. I picked up the Studio 26C as a portable interface I can grab and go along with my old 2011 MacBook Pro running Capture and StudioOne 4.5. I have run this interface thru its paces and it sounds and performs extremely well. Very stable with Universal Control and allows zero latency monitoring in Studio One. I am using the Pro version, but this interface comes with the Artist Version and some great plugins. Not sure why some reviews are giving low ratings and stating that the interface can't be used without a computer. Well, it is an INTERFACE! Know what you are buying. As far as sample rate and sound quality, this price point is awesome. Would highly recommend this product.
